98K’s burgers are probably the most authentically Chinese-style burgers I’ve ever had — they really bring back that taste of home. I heard they recently opened a new location in Duluth, so I decided to take my mom to try it out.
The atmosphere was quite casual and cozy. Since it was their soft opening, they had a $5 off $20 promotion, so I went for their couple combo — it came with popcorn chicken, grilled spicy wings, fried chicken wings, two spicy chicken sandwiches, and Cokes.
Their spicy chicken burger truly reminded me of the flavors back home — juicy, flavorful, and perfectly spicy. The popcorn chicken was crispy and tasty, especially with ketchup. Sipping Coke with it all made me nostalgic — it felt just like those childhood birthday parties at （葡京 ）with my mom and friends. Such a comforting and heartwarming experience!

Duluth doesn’t have many halal places and I’m glad we were able to find one conveniently near everything. I’m so glad we found this place the crispy chicken sandwich is DELICIOUS, portions were huge for what you’re paying. My muslim friends it was really good. The food came out fairly quickly everything was just perfect. It’s been a few hours and we are still full from it. We got a 5pc mixed chicken meal ~13 and a crispy chicken meal ~$11 sharing it with three people. Anyways summary: GREAT SO WORTH GO CHECK IT OUT

Tried the shrimp burger and spicy 3 piece. I was surprised the shrimp burger was individual fried shrimp instead of a shrimp patty, but it still tasted delicious. The 3 piece is actually spicy due to the outer seasoning which is really nice, and the chicken is super juicy and flavorful. I also tried the 98K super spicy sauce (red, not really that spicy) and the honey garlic sauce (dark brown, sweet and maybe actually spicier than the 98K sauce)
Overall everything tasted great and I would recommend food here. When I went to pick up my takeout the restaurant interior was clean and welcoming.

Burger were good, juicy meat, sparkling mango drink was really good, only thing I was not impressed with was popcorn chicken, but that might just be my own preference. Portions are good & prices are fare.

Ordered the spicy chicken sandwich but I think they might have forgot to add any spice to it as it wasn’t spicy at all. The chicken is crispy however but needs some sauce on it.

I go here for lunch sometimes and it’s a solid spot. It’s a bit greasy and but I don’t go here to eat healthy.
The prices of the food here is excellent for what you get, especially with how expensive fast food has gotten lately. It does taste a bit plain, but if you use the spicy powder in the shaker, it makes it taste so much better, but it is fairly spicy. I think it costs extra to get sauce, but other than that, they have a hot sauce freely available for use which is okay (similar to Texas Pete).
Long story short, don’t expect anything fancy… it’s basically fast food, but I want to say it’s a step above your average chains, while also being cheaper.

The chicken stays crispy overnight without it being hard to bite to. Flavorful chicken to the bone, very tender, and overall delicious. The lady who took my order was so sweet and welcoming. The restaurant also have big space for family. I loved it.
