The food was also delicious. They started us off with complimentary herb dinner rolls. They were absolutely delicious with the whipped butter. The daily special cocktail and oysters were also great. The burger complemented well with the onion jam inside and the peppered steak was cooked just the way we wanted it. The fries were also perfectly flavored and crispy. Every dish and side were tasty. I have nothing but good things to say about this place and I can’t wait to return next time I’m in Vermont!
It felt like Christmas morning every time we eat there thanks to new, innovative options both on the savory and sweet selection. Chef Brett Combs even came out to explain the dishes we were having and to make sure we were satisfied. Fresh Oysters that were perfectly briny. The BBQ creole shrimps and razor clams give you a sensory visit to New Orleans, the French Onion soup is like visiting a Paris Bistro, and the fresh Swordfish or Steak a Poivre complete a bold and well balanced offer. We ate a total of 6 nights and each one was a delight with something to discover. Will be definitely returning
First everything we had was spectacular. We did order the special cocktail and the special main and special dessert plus if the mushrooms are the vegetable of the day you must order them.
We started with the Salad Verte and Escargot (both delish) I had the Halibut special with spinach and Israel Couscous, and my partner had the steak frites! We finished it off with a very tasty lavender crème brûlée.
Our server Charma (?) was so charming and nice. Explained all specials and menu details perfectly and was very attentive.
Highly recommend for a nicer evening out or even if you just want a snack and a glass of wine their small bar and bartender is charming.
Would recommend making reservations especially on weekends and holidays/ leaf peaking season.

The food was exquisite. Their daily specials and rotating menu is a testament to the incredibly fresh foods The Left Bank is harvesting on their farm (the fresh greens with parmesan was my favorite salad). The chicken liver mousse, shoestring truffle fries, deviled eggs, and statler chicken were phenomenal. The seafood was equally delightful. The oysters were beautifully plump and the escargot delicious. I was like a kid in a candy shop when the bouillabasse crock was delivered to my table. It was devine, filled with scallops, mussles, clams and shrimp..and the bread…oh my! It was the perfect New England dinner. Dessert was equally impressive with ice cream flavors and sorbet created daily. We also enjoyed the galette and chocolate ganache. Price point is definitely on par for the quality of food, craft cocktails, and exceptional service we received. Bon appetite!
Hostess was very friendly and accommodating, all the servers were knowledgeable and seemed to enjoy working there.
The Pork Tomahawk entry might have been one of the best things I have ever eaten in a restaurant anywhere!
You can tell the Chef Brett and the Manager Matt aka sommelier (he wore many hats) take pride at what they do – I walked out from the place thinking “I don’t think anything could have been done better”.
