I can’t find the exact words to describe why we love this pho a lot, but the taste and the overall dining experience just made us feel very satisfied and comfortable.
The soup tastes just right, and noodles are extra chewy not soggy. Most pho places may have good soups, but their noodles would be soggy and overcooked. We loved the texture of this place’s noodles! The spring rolls were very crunchy and tasty as well.
I think they didn’t try to make anything fancy, but they execute their menu dishes well. The pho special and Bun Bo Hue were both really good.
Service was terrible . Vietnamese ladies would talk shit about people in their language and they didn’t expect me to understand. I asked for fish sauce and one of them told me to get up and get it myself.
I had the cà phê muối Phở Đặc Biệt Large very nice
Was able to taste the broth from a bowl of Beef Stew Noodles and it was really good. If I ever get a chance, I would like to order it by myself. Be warned that the broth when I had it was super fatty, you decode whether that’s good or bad. I like the fat in the broth, but will admit it could have been less.
All in all, the food was good and portions for the noodle soups were big, great value.
Edit #1: stopped by for a snack and got a pho burrito. Was able to satisfy my slight pho craving in a smaller and cheaper form factor. I do wish they used a fresh Tortilla or even made their own, as the one I got was a little bit dry. They do give you a small cup of broth, which I assume you use to dip, as I did.
Edit #2: was able to try the Special Rice Combo (C1). It was pretty average, compared to similar dishes I’ve had at other places. Main complaints were the pork chop being on the dry side and the fish sauce they gave on the side was not that flavorful. I’d probably just continue ordering their noodle dishes next time.
