Placed a mobile app order of:
1.Orange Chicken/Chow Mein/Veggies
2. Honey Walnut Shrimp & fried rice
3. Teriyaki Chx & veggies
&
4. Medium Chow Mein a la carte
Ive noticed that the portions change in size quite a bit when you order in person vs if you make a mobile order or drive through order. SO ALWAYS ORDER IN PERSON.
Here’s my experience,
Chow mein a la carte was pretty dry, unfortunately.
Shrimp & fried rice bowl was mainly fried rice & 5 small shrimps. Serving Size for shrimp is roughly 10-12 MEDIUM shrimp or 5-7 LARGE shrimps.
Honey walnut shrimp being the main dish should of had 6oz-8oz (raw) per person. I got what seemed like an appetizer serving Size. Smaller shrimp means more shrimp per serving & larger shrimp is less per serving. Panda expresses batter covers up the small shrimps so they seem medium.
Orange chicken bowl with 1/2 veggies & 1/2 Chow mein was almost good but they definitely skipped out on the sides of veggies & Chow mein. I added photos of when I removed the orange chicken from the top of it & 1 photo of when I separated the chow mein from the veggies.
Teriyaki chicken & veggie bowl was as expected. I only expect about 4oz of chicken Breast with plenty of veggies.
This is the 1st time ive experienced this at this location as well as my 1st time ordering via mobile for this location. Sucks cuz I drove 25min from Broadway & W Richmond street to Glenwood & Strawberry just because I knew ive had good experiences in the past. When I arrived I think i had beat the rush. There were 2-3 employees in the kitchen & 3-4 standing at a table by the fountain machine discussing “training all of them at once” so they must of not been busy, hadn’t clocked in, taking a break, etc.
Definitely a disappointed mobile order experience today.
