Placed an online order. Arrived within the time frame. There was nobody at the front counter when I came in but I noticed a worker servicing other patrons who were dining in. I waited. A lady came from the back. She didn’t acknowledge me, didn’t greet me, didn’t tell me someone would be with me. Kinda rude. The other lady helping the dine-ins finally came over and she greeted me and was pleasant. The food came out about 5 min later.
The food was hot and fresh. I tried the buffalo chicken pizza for the 1st and last time. I redeemed my birthday reward and only paid about $4 for it. It wasn’t bad but after a few slices, it gets really salty. The pepperoni pizza was good as usual.
Home Run Inn is a classic but the prices are getting ridiculous. My XL pepperoni was $30! It’s nostalgic and always brings back childhood memories but due to prices, it’s not something I can enjoy often.

This was by far the worst pizza I have ever had. My husband and I had been driving for the last 10 hrs and we love home run inn pizza, but this was just so unfortunate. We were starving and we were going to get just a couple slices but we seen it was cheaper to get a regular sized pizza. The presentation for the pizza was not what we anticipated. It was full of sauce and when I picked up the slice it literally flopped onto my plate. It was full of grease and just not visually appealing. The taste was awful and the only good things about this establishment were the employees, they were friendly and kind.

The service provided was great. Shout out to the manager, Ashley, for her prompt assistance in resolving an issue with our delayed pizza order.
We placed a delivery order through the company’s website. When the estimated delivery time had passed without any updates on the tracking system, I contacted the store. Ashley promptly addressed the situation and her positive attitude alleviated any concerns I had regarding the delay caused by the DoorDash delivery drivers.

Take a deep breath when you read this. This is possibly the worst pizza I’ve ever had. The deep dish pizza was structured well, but the crust was so hard you couldn’t cut through it. My kids consume anything pizza related and after half a slice they bailed on it. The cheese was tasteless and the sauce had an odd smell to it. After having Gino’s in Chicago two days prior, you can’t even classify this as pizza.

I LOVE the frozen pizzas but there is no restaurant anywhere near where I am in Florida. I thought it’d be great to try the fresh, authentic thing while I was visiting the Chicago area. We ordered delivery to the hotel room – with fees and tips, paid like $30 bucks for this one “10 inch” – heavy emphasis on the quotations – heart shaped pizza with 6 slices. The buttery crust flavor was EXACTLY the same as the frozen pizzas! But it was dissapointing because the crust was too soft. Cooking it at home gives you control over your crispiness level so overall, imo you are MUCH better off saving your “dough” (haha, couldn’t resist!) and sticking to the grocery store frozen versions of Home Run Inn. Also I asked for napkins online and received none.

2 stars because the pizza is actually good. But service is terrible. It’s bad enough I get a text saying it’s ready after 40 mins for a small pizza, but then I get there and still have to wait 15 more mins. Then the lady checks and tells me they are cutting the pizza. I was on the go so tried to eat in the car only to find out they didn’t even cut the damn thing so it was a complete mess trying to eat it for being lied to. Not coming back. So damn overpriced anyway.

I don’t really write these reviews but I went to this place with my family last friday at around 8pm, and I DO NOT recommend anyone going to this place, we sat by a big window and my son was able to count about 7 rats crawling in the bushes, there is a ton of holes there you could also see them running across the parking lot and under the cars, I would not be surprised if their kitchen and food is rat infested, food ain’t the best, the crust on the pizza was so thin that my finger slipped right through it when I tried grabbing a piece. It was not a fun exprience eating next to a bunch of rats!! The wait on the pizza was also insane.

The girl with glasses at the register is rude. She messed up the order and made it as if it was our fault. She should not be working with the public. A pizza took 25 mins and came out wrong and had to wait another 25 mins for a simple large pizza. I would not return to this location at all.
