I have ate at this and other McCalister’s in Tennessee and they all do a great job. I like the 6 inch Memphian with Potato Salad. The meal is filling and affordable considering how much meat that put in the sandwich. The staff at Signal Mountain are always nice and helpful. Having dietary restrictions is often a daunting task to muddle through at a restaurant. However, Hannah and Olivia at the Signal Mtn location made me realize how we need more people just like them in the food industry. Not only Hannah go out of her way to make sure I knew what was in the salad dressings (which I couldn’t have any of – even the olive oil is 75% canola!) and helped me build my salad to suit my needs, but Olivia went the extra mile while making my salad and offered to make me an avocado-lemon dressing since there was nothing on the menu I could have (which btw was ). Literally the most amazing people I have ever dealt with in a restaurant and I sure hope the manager sees this. Your establishment is ran with grace and good intentions. You should be proud!

Absolutely fabulous lunch on Saturday. We surprised the staff with a heads up about 30-45 minutes before our arrival as we brought 30 folks in for lunch. Our Cross Country team and coaches enjoyed delicious meals before their race later that night. The staff members were all so precious to accommodate such a big crowd. We watched college football as we ate. Truly, we could not have asked for more. We hope to return to see you next season.

So this used to be a favorite of mine, but not any more. I was such a regular that an employee felt the need to share these pictures with me. They told me this is why my food has been subpar. This is what the soups look like first thing in the morning….. so first they’re over 12hrs old and to look like this they’re not being kept covered or the evaporation wouldn’t be so severe. My chili spud tasted so burnt it was completely off putting.
Second, they’ve been watering down the soups to compensate for the evaporation…… this makes the soups taste terrible. I had a bowl of chicken n dumplings that were as thin as broth.
Overall the quality of the store has declined sharply & I’m sad to say i think I’ll just find another deli to patron.
