Great food and the prices make you forget about inflation all around. Highly recommend. There is an additional charge for card transactions and you order at the counter. The large sandwich is just two small sandwiches so it is a great bargain for two people.

Not sure how this place has 4.5 stars. Got the gyro and fries. The gyro meat was very bland and unseasoned. Probably one of the worst gyros I’ve had.

The fries were even worse – also very bland. They tasted more like chips than fries.

I recommend Souvlaki’s for a bite.

Mike and his staff give great service and food. The lamb gyros are the best item on the menu.

Falafel pita was dry and had probably 6 small cubes of tomato’s total. Happy to support local but I was disappointed in the quantity and quality of food ($9.50 with my $1.50 tip).

Souvlaki is my favorite downtown place for a quick lunch, and I have recommended others stop in for a few years now. They have never disappointed me!

Souvlaki is like a hole-in-the-wall bar that serves greek food. i mean that in the best way possible. it’s very genial or familiar. you sort of seem like you’ve been in there 100 times on your first visit. The owner knows everyone that walks in.

I ordered a gyro because i didn’t know what else to order and that seemed like a classic option. it didn’t impress me, but i don’t know greek food that well at all so i wouldn’t know.

the music set a certain aura that just fit so well. i liked it so much, i asked for the spotify playlist – wade in the water radio.

This place is a hole in the wall in the best way. The food was delicious and the service was fast. We had the lamb gyros for $6.25 each. They’re a bit on the small side, but it’s fair given how cheap the price was. We ended up going back for seconds because the food was so good. Will definitely be back.

Was my favorite quick cheap eats during college days. I still remember the old man (owner?) behind the counter. Went back recently while in town. Still as good but sadly the old man was no longer there

Best Gyro in The NRV! On the campus of VT, so you must pay to park unless your doing a to-go order. Food was extremely fresh, plus you can watch them fix your meal. The staff were polite and very helpful. An outside eating spot as well, so that made the experience even better. I recommend this small corner restaurant to anyone to anyone near the VT area.
