The line does appear to be long when visiting, however that is mainly due to the store allowing only 3 parties within the space at a time due to how small the store is. There is no seating at this location.
There are a wide variety of breads and pastries available, all reasonably priced and good portion sizes. We got a variety of offerings, such as coconut macarons, cookies, croissants, and herb butter sesame bread. They were all tasty, can be a little hard when first served but toasts well and has a great flavor. The highlight was probably the herb butter black sesame bread.
Sharday, one of their amazing bakers, told me to stop by — and she did not miss. Benji took great care of us and made sure our whole order was dialed in. We’ll definitely be back. This place is a gem.
I haven’t enjoyed their desserts, honestly, but this place is so good that it still deserves five stars
The pastries did not disappoint—everything we tried was absolutely delicious. While there’s no indoor seating, you can enjoy your fresh-baked treats on a bench right outside, which adds to the charm. It was also surprising to learn that most of the customers were locals who stop by almost every week—always a good sign!
The only downside is that they don’t serve coffee at the same counter, so we had to grab ours from their Coffee Bar next door. Still, I’ll definitely be coming back.

Updating prior review after trying more baked goods. We tried the no nuts carrot cake and lemon poundcake this time. The carrot cake was fine and not too sweet but a bit dry. The small lemon poundcake loaf was VERY dry when we ate half of it after we brought it home. The other half became very hard the next day. This was very disappointing, especially considering it was a pricey item.

Since it’s German week at the bakery, I decided to brave the potentially long queue to try their pretzel and pretzel croissant that I’ve heard so much about. Luckily, there was almost no waiting at all around 1pm on a Mon afternoon.
The pretzel croissant was as advertised. It had a great pretzel saltiness and a unique flavor which I’ve never had before in a croissant. This was the star out of everything I tried.
The plain pretzel and Plum Berliner were not successful. The pretzel had the texture and taste of a bagel, nothing special, unlike the pretzels that I’ve enjoyed in Frankfurt. The Berliner was a disappointment given that it tasted so different from the website description. It was quite dense, not soft. The plum jam inside was nice but overall was so so. I would not get either of these again.
However, I would go back for the pretzel croissant which is stellar in my opinion and I do give a lot of credit to this bakery that always try to bring interesting flavors to the neighborhood.
