Stopped in for lunch today and had a great experience. I had a fish sandwich and the misses had the shrimp salad. My fish sandwich was outstanding. Crispy and done just right with just enough tomato, onion, and lettuce. I prefer more Tatar sauce so I got extra. The fries were super crispy and done perfect. I’ll definitely get that again. Now the side of coleslaw I got with it. Not good at all. Just tasted like miracle whip and the veggies. No seasoning at all and overly creamy. The worst part about the coleslaw was the dish it came it was warm so the coleslaw wasn’t even cold at all. Pretty gross. Put the cup in the freezer for a bit before adding the coleslaw. Now the misses said her salad was delicious except the shrimp was way over cooked. Dry and rubbery. Other than that everything was good and service was good. I’ll definitely be back for the fish

I had the pleasure of dining at The Hideout Two yesterday, and I can confidently say it was a delicious experience that left me eager to return. This restaurant truly shines with its commitment to quality, offering dishes that are both comforting and crafted with care.
The star of the show was undoubtedly their handmade burger patties. Each patty was perfectly seasoned, bursting with flavor, and cooked to juicy perfection ( I chose mine medium ). You can tell the kitchen takes pride in sourcing fresh ingredients and shaping each patty by hand, resulting in a burger that feels like a labor of love. Paired with their toasted burger buns, which had just the right amount of crispness on the outside while staying soft inside.
Another standout was the hand-battered onion rings. These golden, crispy delights were a testament to the restaurant’s dedication to doing things right. The batter was light yet crunchy, and the onions inside were tender and sweet, making each bite absolutely addictive. The seemingly made in-house ranch was a yummy addition to both the onion rings and their fries as well.
The crawfish soup, however, was the unexpected highlight of my meal. It arrived hot, brimming with generous chunks of crawfish that were fresh, plump, and packed with flavor. The broth was rich and well-balanced, with just the right kick of seasoning to complement the natural sweetness of the crawfish.
The atmosphere at The Hideout Two is welcoming and open. The staff’s passion for their craft is evident in every dish, and their attention to detail elevates the dining experience. If you’re looking for a spot that combines heartfelt cooking with bold flavors, I wholeheartedly recommend The Hideout Two. Their handmade burgers, perfectly toasted buns, exceptional onion rings, and soulful crawfish soup will leave you hungry for more.

Had the pot roast dinner last evening – the beef was super tender, mashed potatoes & gravy were excellent as well. It tasted like dinner at my grandma’s used to be, complete with home made gravy (get extra!). Excellent service and a friendly atmosphere made this place a great dining experience.

The Hideout 2 never disappoints! Excellent, attentive l, and friendly service. I love the dressing options. There are so many sides to choose from, it’s always a tough decision. Atmosphere is family friendly. And the food..? The food is always delicious, huge portions, and everything I’ve tried is something I’d recommend to a friend. (And I have!) Great restaurant! A must visit when in Morris, Illinois!

I wish I could give this atmosphere lower stars. The owners are so disgusting and disturbing for this. Displaying pictures of previous employees in a “employee graveyard” is insane. If they put more dedication to their restaurant and not employee graveyard they would probably get some more customers.

We had a brisket wrap and mango habanero wings. We had the cutest little waitress helping her mother take our order. She loved helping her mom. May God bless her and this business!

Delicious food. I highly recommend it. If I get the chance, I will visit this place again. The service is very nice. A big plus for the right volume of music, you can normally talk. The perfect restaurant for dinner and more.

We have spent a lot of time at the Hideout 2. Even used them for catering. Lately the food and service have not been good. The past 2 times our food was cold. Lobg wait for food and to get our check. Sadly bartenders not very good with mixed drinks.

Cuban burger, classic burger and potato kegs. Burgers were perfectly cooked. Felt like the Cuban was missing something that would up the wow factor but as far as burgers go it was thick juicy and perfectly medium rare. Tater kegs were delish, hot and the chipotle ranch was kicking.
