Stopped by for lunch with a few coworkers. The staff were eager to assist and politely explained the menu. Cashier recommended the Philly since I’d had other subs at their Fredericksburg location… 10/10. Grilled to perfection and loaded with meat and cheese!

YAASSS! FINALLY! I’ve been waiting for this location to open and it finally did. I hadn’t tried Wicked Wich yet. If seen some video from a good influencer or something and had wanted to try them for a while. When I saw they were opening a location in Leon Valley, I was really excited!

I wasn’t disappointed! First of all, they were extremely friendly. The guy walked me through the menu. I had my 7 year old and asked if they had a kid menu. He said no, but you could make a half sandwich with whatever you want for $6. So I got him a turkey and cheese with mayo and it came on a sub bun. For me, I got the Wemby it was roast beef, turkey, ham, bacon, several cheeses, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle.. it was STACKED. He toasted up the bread, stacked it up, and wrapped it.

When we got home, my son had no problem eating his sandwich (if you have kids you know this is an important statement if they’re like mine ). I looked at my massive sandwich and decided to only eat half (I didn’t want to be a glutton). But here’s the problem.. when I finished the half.. I was like maybe one more bite.. then another.. then another.. I ended up devouring it all it was SO good. The meat was fresh and the flavors were balanced and delicious. SO GOOD. My wife was at work but she wanted a tuna. They scooped it fat with tuna and it was also great.

Aside from the food, the ambience was really cool. It’s definitely a vibe. They have an arcade game to play in be back and it has that unique local spot type of feel. My kind of place.

So.. if it’s not obvious, there’s a new sandwich spot in town! I can’t wait to go back and if you haven’t been, go try them out!
