The food was great, prepared well, and presented nicely. Portions were appropriate and filling. I was greeted warmly by the staff and treated well at our table. I have to say I did not expect this quality of food given the obscure location. Still I was very impressed and very satisfied. I’ll definitely be returning in the future.

As a regular patron, I love the place.
I tried pretty much everything on the menu, which changes seasonally.
As appetizer I love the herring, the smoked salmon is amazing, the alsacienne onion tart is delicious, late is great, foie gras excellent, both terrine and seared. I often order beef tartar.
For an entry I like practically everything: the choucroute, ris de veau and the lapin are my favorite regular menu items. But to complicate matters there are always very good variety of specials.
When almond soup is available, I always order it. There are so many good things on the menu, that it’s hard to decide… Hence one keeps coming back.
The staff is friendly and attentive. The prices are reasonable. The wine list has many good choices at verify of price points.
For those who like cocktails, try lemon drop. The best I ever had. And for those who do not like it too sweet, the bartender adjusts it perfectly.
I do not generally order desert, but opt in for Cafe Liegeois or frais Melba, instead. However there are many real good deserts on the menu.

We had a reservation but staff did not seem to know who we were. Service was very slow. Most portions were quite small especially the bouillabaisse. Sauces were nice and desserts were very good.
