Awhile ago decided to try out a few new places. I think Condesa has to be my fav now you can definitely tell when people have a passion for their craft and my dude Kris is awesome! He’s been a craft mixologist artist for about 20 years. The food’s great atmosphere is chill and drinks are superb! The banter and strong drinks are much appreciated! For sure be passing their name on to family and friends you guys rock!

A stunning cocktail bar — definitely worth a visit. The interior is beautifully designed, with a stylish and welcoming atmosphere. Behind the bar, they have a huge selection of house-made syrups and ingredients, which already hints at the level of creativity they put into their drinks.

The cocktail menu is unique and inventive, and every drink we tried was expertly prepared. The bartenders clearly know what they’re doing — knowledgeable, skilled, and great at recommending something based on your taste.

Overall, a fantastic spot if you’re looking for a special, well-crafted cocktail in a beautiful setting. I would absolutely come back.

I’d just come here for drinks and plan to eat elsewhere. Drinks were good and well priced compared to cocktails elsewhere. They made them quickly and delivered to your table.

Food was mediocre and way too expensive?!
Ceviche was mostly vegetables and tasted like celery. Tacos cost $8 but you’d need like 5 to even come close to full. Quesadillas were basically empty on the inside.

Great new place for date night. The service was top notch. Ambiance was warm, cozy, and classy. The food was fresh and delicious. We used to come to Spash Cafe when they used to be here, so we were excited to check out what the new venue pulled together. Wow! We are so happy we stopped in to check it out. Great job! Beautiful build out!

We went to the new bar/restaurant that opened next to the Petit Soleil and everything was delicious. We tried almost all the food items and loved them. Forgot to take pics, but the guacamole with chicharron was incredible and a good size for the 4 of us to start with. We also started with a Strawberry bitter margarita boozy slushy that was not sweet and full of flavor! My new summer drink! My friends had a Oaxacan OF that was fun and balanced with really cool custom ice and a Mezcal Negroni! Then we dove into the Tacos and we all loved the Baja fish taco & the Taco Pulpo Ajillo. The ceviche was light, fresh and exactly what you want from a ceviche. The Aguachile verde de Pulpo was really delicious as well and a crowd pleasure at our table. We had a second round of drinks and I’m singing the praises of the Jaguar Moon cocktail and my friends love the Mango Daiquiri, which is beautiful and bright and tasty. We tried the Esquites which was like a soup, not heavy, unique and full of flavor. Very different, and will be getting this every visit!
The decor is stunning and the perfect night out vibe we needed. You can see the attention to detail from the design, back bar and intrigue cocktails. Great hospitality! This will be on our weekly rotation whether we are swinging through for just drinks or dinner out. Oh and highly recommend the espresso martini called a Carajillo! Lot of street parking available and open till 11 nightly. Free parking is nice to have in downtown SLO. Lastly I’m gluten free and could eat almost everything on the menu which is really amazing!

Elevated Bar Vibes, Great Food & Even Better Drinks!

This spot is a hidden gem if you’re looking for an elevated bar experience with dark, intimate vibes and fantastic drinks. The ambiance is cozy yet stylish—perfect for a night out.

We tried a few dishes and were pleasantly surprised by how flavorful and well-prepared everything was. The esquites were juicy and full of flavor, and the guacamole with pork chicharrón was a standout—fresh and creamy guac paired with meaty, crunchy chicharrón. The fish tacos were crispy and seasoned just right, and the enchiladas suizas had a nice tang, though my boyfriend found them a bit too sour for his taste. That would be my only minor critique.

The drinks were absolutely delicious—not watered down at all. We tried the Oaxacan OF, Oaxacan Dead, and the Watermelon Fix. Highly recommend the Oaxacan Dead.

Service was great even though they were training a cashier at the time. Staff checked in on us just the right amount without hovering. One woman stood out—I’m pretty sure she was a manager or director of food—her customer service was truly on point.

Total cost was about $95 before tip, which felt fair for the quality and experience. We’ll definitely be coming back the next time we’re in town!

Best margarita I’ve ever had. Hands down best cocktails and best authentic elevated Mexican food in SLO. Been for happy hour after work and late night for drinks. Fantastic vibe and beautifully designed artistic Mexico City style space. Get over there! A place you can go back to multiple times a week. Very very cool!

As you walked into the restaurant, very dark hard to read the menus. The suggested tips are 18 to 22% at a self service counter. They deliver your food, but don’t check on your table. We received the food that one of the dishes was completely cold. It was the mole enchiladas. I have a little bit of experience in the kitchen and I believe the enchiladas aren’t supposed to come out with cold sauce and cold inside. Besides that the food had a decent presentation for traditional Mexican food but small portions sizes. I normally don’t write reviews, but I brought this up to one of the staff members and all I got was I’m sorry. I would expect the staff to relay the feedback to someone that can fix it for the next guest. I recommend trying it. Just a little disappointed.
