Casual seafood restaurant with a spacious patio offering views of Lake Washington.

The place is nice with amazing views and good seating indoors and out. Full bar and seating in the bar area. Food is fresh and varied and good all around but not great. And very few vegetarian choices and no vegan ones other than appetizers and salad. Service, as many others have stated, is slow and inconsistent. Staff is overworked and hence not in a good mood. For the price, I expect much better.

My wife and I celebrated my birthday at Beach Cafe and dined outside. The outdoor area is pretty spaced out and all the restaurant staff were masked. We were last here before the pandemic and the menu has changed quite a bit (no more crabcakes which was disappointing) but everything was very good. Also can’t beat the view of the water at sunset!
We had the fresh bread and calamari as starters, and the seared scallops and chicken breast entrees (see photos). I think the prices went up a bit since our last visit, but our meal was delicious and it was a great dining experience (one of the few times we’ve been to a restaurant since the start of the pandemic) I definitely want to come back again for a future special occasion.

Beach Cafe is one of my go-to spots in Kirkland. Nice waterfront views. Solid, healthy, well-prepared food. They don’t serve a filet mignon, which bums me out. But their NY strip is tasty and nicely seared. I ate it all, minus the gristle. They’re using sprouts in many of their dishes, which I love. The mash was good and the asparagus was perfect.
The drinks are ok – mostly variations of margaritas. I don’t like straight salt rims. Cocktail menu could use a revamp. For dessert we had a slice of cake layered with custard. Yum!
Parking is easy, as this restaurant is inside the Woodmark Hotel. There is a large free parking lot adjacent to the hotel. And there is valet. We stayed until closing and the valet had our cars pulled upfront, and he found us at our table to return our keys. I was pleased with that.

Fancy. Great view! Friendly staff. Didn’t need to use the reservation we placed day prior. Waitress greeted us immediately. Meal called for red potatoes. I got hasbrowns. The ham pieces were grizzly. The water tasted like chlorine. Waited for bill, to go box and cash out. Each thing took forever to achieve in obtaining.

Nice bar/restaurant with different types of seating, booths included. The place is not extremely big, in some parts it seems a bit overcrowded, but generally I felt tables have some level of privacy. The personnel is very attentive and friendly. The food was really good and the portions very generous. The pricing is reasonable, not too expensive.

After re-opening post covid I’ve been incredibly impressed with the revitalized Beach Cafe. I’ve had several great meals here since they came back in May – the most surprising of which was an amazing brunch burger. I’ve had no trouble walking up with one or two people but they do recommend reservations at the moment. Well worth the trouble for the food, the service, and the view!

Went there with my elderly mom for an early 5:45 dinner in June 22. Of course it was raining, so we sat inside. Hey-I’m from DC so I don’t like it to rain every day. Don’t worry, you can park very close by, so the rain was not a problem. I was surprised the place was not busy, maybe it was too early.
Service was very good, properly attentive and knowledgeable without hovering. My mom had scallops which she said were fantastic. They came with “deconstructed” potatoes, which looked very interesting on the plate, as you can see. I had a kobe burger that was very good, but on the expensive side of what you’d expect. We had a beet and quinoa appetizer that was good, but the ratio of quinoa was a bit too high, the dish needed a little more beets and feta to get it right. I also had a strawberry spinach salad that had too much dressing and was a little disappointing the way it was put together.
The views are nice, there were even some wedding pictures going on out on the dock while we were there during a break in the rain. The restaurant has that slightly unfortunate vibe of being part of a hotel that is holding it back from 5 stars, but the the food was good and the price was so close to being reasonable that I give it 4 and would consider eating there again.

The view is nice, the interior design is cool and the staff was okay. They did not have GF bread and as a person who has Celiac disease I want all the restaurants’ and cafes’ to have GF bread in their freezer. Come on! It is not that hard 🙂 Other than these, the omelete was delicious. My husband liked the eggs benedict as well.
Oh, plus they have a parking lot!
