Reviews
The guy making the food is beyond rude!! Snappy, eye rolling and lack of basic human kindness is what he gave us. I wanted to tell him to just clock out…I get it, life is hard but that does not mean you take it out on innocent customers. The hatred that was exerted was unwarranted.
Food was lukewarm and they ran out of queso and beans. What a disappointment and waste of money.
Once again… Tampa please do better with customer service.
1. My husband’s chicken bowl was a complete joke. It had only TWO small pieces of chicken, absolutely no cheese, a tiny dollop of sour cream, and was just drenched in rice. There was no balance to the bowl at all — it was like someone just scooped leftover rice and called it a day.
2. My steak bowl was no better. I also received only TWO pieces of steak, barely any cheese, a pinch of lettuce, and again, a mound of rice. Everything tasted bland, unseasoned, and cold. This is not what we expected when we paid for a steak bowl.
3. My child’s burrito was loaded with so many black beans that it overpowered everything else. It was soggy and unappetizing.
To top it all off, everything was cold and just haphazardly thrown into the bags like no one cared about presentation, quality, or customer satisfaction.
For what we spent, this meal was an absolute rip-off. We will not be returning, and I’ll be warning others to save their money and skip Moe’s entirely.
I enjoy the salsa bar, but it does look unpleasant in spots. The restaurant itself looks understaffed and so my low atmosphere marks is not a stain against the staff, but a highlight that whomever is in charge needs to do something about the cleaning staff.
I do love that chips come with the bowl meal, and I always have leftovers. The flavors are nicely balanced too. The meat is always succulent and tender, and the veggies are fresh and crisp. Thank you to the team here that’s keeping this place going!
The store is within a very popular plaza so parking can be tuff, and dangerous. Be careful when coming and going.
The “skater boi” food server that attempted to serve me had his long hair pulled in front of his eyes and held down with a cap where he could barely see things. I told him I wanted another person to serve me since I didn’t want his hair in my food. I should have left after that, but I was late running late, the parking lot was totally filled which took forever to park, and I quite hungry so I unfortunately proceeded. They were out of so many things like some proteins, sour cream, many of the sauces/salsas, corn toppings, etc. They skimp on EVERYTHING! I asked for extra veggies and the server put maybe a 1/2 cup so I asked for a little more then he said, “I already gave you extra veggies like you asked – but Okaaaay”. Really? REALLY? I’m not there for your commentary! So, all said and done, this bowl was maybe 3/4 filled which is a joke. The food tasted terrible and was mostly trashed. This place used to be decent on the past few visits.
This place is now on my ban list!
I have a bad back and cannot stand for very long. I was told by one of the workers not to touch the counter. He said that it was “rude and inappropriate “. I was only touching my fingertips for balance. I’ve had it with this location. I’ll still go to Moe’s, just not this one.
I will never come back as long as he works there.
