I enjoyed eating at the restaurant inside the hotel here. The view was absolutely amazing of the ocean. I really liked all the windows that looked directly out into the water. It was extremely beautiful. The servers were nice, friendly and attentive. We got our food in a timely manner. The restaurant was kept very clean. The food tasted great and was a wonderful way to start our morning. Afterwards we got to take a long stroll on the beach.

This was our first time to dine at Columbia Sand Key and it did not disappoint. Everything was perfect: the meal, the service, the ambience, and the view over the beautiful clear water.

We both had the famous 1905 salad and it was superb. My husband had the beef tips, I had the mahi-mahi, and we shared the bread pudding for dessert. We have been in the Tampa area for the last six days and have eaten out every day, and this was by far our best meal! We have also eaten at multiple Columbia locations and this one equals or surpasses them.

Our server, Anastasia, was delightful—friendly and so cute! She also provided excellence service.

Nice spacious area overlooking the water – we were seated right away. Our servers were really nice and served our drinks right away – loved the peñaclara water. We got the empanadas, which were crunchy on the outside and nice and soft on the inside; very tasty. Tried the ham croquetas, which were delicious, and so were the ponchos micro. Lastly, had their Cuban Sandwiches and they were on point, and huge. Overall, great food, service and atmosphere

I have been coming to Columbia with my family for years while we vacation on Clearwater Beach. Every visit I am more and more impressed!!

The pitcher of Mojitos is a must, and the Huckleberry Martini is also delicious. Would highly recommend the black bean cakes and also the stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer. The tomato salad is the best I’ve ever had, and we also love the churros!!!

This time, our server Ray took exceptionally great care of us. He was kind, great at what he does, and laughed with us!! And even helped us to bring a special treat back home for our grandma who spent every Tuesday afternoon at the Columbia during her Florida winters.

We are always impressed at the Columbia and can’t wait for our next visit!!!

We enjoyed such an incredibly fabulous experience today! Our niece and husband were here from Michigan, and we made the Columbia a destination for sure! And the 1905 Salad a must!! Guerman was our server, only his third day on the job, and it was as though he had been there for years! Outstanding service, delicious food, spectacular atmosphere! Everything we wanted for them…sheer delight!!

The steak was so tender and perfectly cooked. It was a great experience. We did call to ask if we could stop in because we were in their plaza or if we needed a reservation. We were told we had to wait 1.5 hours to get a reservation. Then a few minutes later we walked up and they instead sat us right away to our surprise, so just check with the hostess if you really want to be sure. We were there about an hour and a half it was packed! Good vibe. The 1905 salad was amazing. My mom and I ordered crab stuffed shrimp which was good. My son ordered a Ribeye which he ate the entire thing. My mom loves their Cuban sandwich and salad and we will come back for the lunch special. Our waitress was very kind and patient to my son who has special needs, he super talkative. It was a great night. Thanks!!

Decided to take the drive all the way out here instead of the location in Ybor City. And it was totally worth it! This place has a good Castilian vibe and there’s waterfront views here. The service was good, timely, and efficient. I liked how they mixed the 1905 salad in front of us and asked if we were doing anything special.

The food here is absolutely delicious! I enjoyed the 1905 Salad, but there’s more: my crusted Mahi Mahi was very enjoyable with the lemon sauce. However, I wished the hot sauce came out quicker. I also really enjoyed the Flan and Key Lime Pie. They were both very sweet. Overall, would absolutely recommend this! All Columbia locations are great.

Beautiful waterfront views set the perfect backdrop for our evening. The tableside 1905 Salad was a standout fun presentation and absolutely delicious. Our server Jarred was excellent, and we appreciated that Lily, the manager, personally stopped by to check on us and was warm and professional. A wonderful experience from start to finish. Valet available.

Cold food served. Granted this was on Thanksgiving, this restaurant is built for large parties and a packed crowd. There is no excuse for serving cold plates. And it wasn’t just 1, all 4 of our orders were served like warm at best.

Service was a bit slow. Again, it was a crowded holiday evening but there is no excuse that this restaurant, with the reputation it has in the Tampa area, cannot keep up with a busy night.

The food portions were large and the taste was good. Sadly the HOT leftovers were far better than the original offerings.

We were really looking forward to celebrating Thanksgiving here and ended up leaving very disappointed. Not sure if we’ll try again, probably not, considering all the other Tampa restaurants to choose from.

I had my birthday dinner at Columbia Restaurant in Clearwater with my wife, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We started with the Black Bean Cakes for tapas, perfectly crunchy on the outside, soft and chewy inside, and even better with a little guacamole. I actually caught myself making that eyes-half-closed face because the flavors were just that good.

For our entrées, I had the baked stuffed grouper, and my wife had the Lechón Asado “1905.” Both dishes were incredible. Mine was so good I cleaned the plate and even used the table bread to soak up every drop of the sauce. We shared a flan for dessert, which was creamy, rich, and the perfect sweet ending.

What made the night truly memorable was our waiter, Edgar. He was personable, conversational, and genuinely kind. Since it was my first time dining here, his attention and thoughtful service made my birthday feel really special, and I appreciated that more than I can say.

The atmosphere was equally impressive, with a beautiful view of the Gulf that gave the evening an extra layer of charm. This is an excellent spot for celebrating a special occasion, and we will definitely be coming back.
