We recently found this restaurant, and we love it! Great service, wonderful food. The quality is much better than what we’ve had at Casino Morongo and other steakhouses. We absolutely recommend this restaurant!

The mark of good service is never having to ask for anything. The bar tenders killed it in this regard. Top Notch Service! I ordered the NY strip, asparagus, and Cesar’s salad. All excellent! Chimichurri sauce wasn’t on the menu, but I asked if it was available anyways. Lol and behold, my steak came out with chimichurri sauce. Absolutely awesome! And I enjoyed the piano playing.

We had our reservation so our wait time was very short.
Seated promptly, with staff serving water immediately followed by ordering drinks.
I had a spicy margarita. It was very balanced but could have used a little more spicy in my opinion. My husband had a smoked old fashion that had a great walnut flavor.
Our appetizer was the bone marrow. I enjoyed the flavor greatly. Along with the company of the roasted garlic.
My husband had the perfect pair. Loster and steak. He was very pleased with the cook on both and the flavor in the seasoning.
I order the venison, I had never had before. The flavor was wonderful. It was accompanied with a sweet potato puree and mashed potatos. I will add that they were spread across the plate beautifuly but because they were so thin they were ice cold when I ate them.
Lastly we had the butter cake perfect outside and gooey inside. The ice cream was so rich!
Overall it was a great meal. Worth the 250 for the Valentines weekend.

Sooo… Where to start, 1st I can see why they only offer their tomahawk dinner Wed and Thu. It’s cause it’s the slowest days of the week and they couldn’t get people in without something special. Try though while it wasn’t bad. It wasn’t very good either really fatty center pieces along with very low flavor. While they did give you 2 sauces to eat with it. I don’t want that for a $150 steak dinner. I want the quality flavor of the meat paired with salt and cracked pepper corn. The mash potatoes are basically box instant. The asparagus came out cold so they corrected that and the second set came out very hot but still very very much lacking in any flavor whatsoever. They rely on the hollandaise sauce to actually flavor the asparagus but it doesn’t they need to garlic as well as pepper and a little bit of sea salt on their asparagus would make a world of difference. The desserts that’s where it wins 100% hands down very good. And if you do a breakdown on it it’s not even a close to an $80 steak it’s a $40 40 ounce steak is really all it goes down to by the time you pay 10 to $15 for the salads or soup paired with the $15 for the sides and the desserts you literally are left with $40 to 50 maybe for a steak that’s truly not very good.
I can see why now not I’m in reviews mention that tomahawk steak. Also there’s no ambience at all that’s really just a boring room of a steakhouse and since there was only two of us they really sat us in a corner up against a wall I will not be going back.
On a positive note I will say the staff was amazing and my wife very much enjoyed the blueberry lemon drop I’ll be it at $18 each.

Love this place, they had a pianist playing while eating which made the ambiance perfect. We started with the Scallops and they were delicious with the corn and bacon they put with it. I had the New York Strip and a Baked Potato, the strip was delicious and cooked perfectly. The baked potato was pretty good and it is HUGE definitely shareable. Wife got the Petite Filet and it was melt in your mouth good. MIL got the seabass and it was pretty good I’m not much of a fish person but I’d order it. We ended with the Butter cake I believe which was a perfect ending to dinner. Eric was on top of it with water, bread refills and just making sure the table was happy. Ryan was our server and he is awesome. Really attentive and helpful with the menu and overall making sure we were happy with everything. Will definitely be back. Thank you everyone who made the dinner amazing.

It was our 2nd visit to Canyons Steakhouse last Saturday. We were seated within 5 minutes. Our 1st experience was amazing. So we returned about a year later. We are still on our honeymoon, and the team at Canyons made it super special. They decorated our table and they all signed a card for us. My wife loved it. Mayra was our server, and she is always great! We were served water and bread right away. Drinks from the bar came about 5 minutes later, and they were perfect. My wife loved her piña coloda, and I enjoyed an old fashioned. We ordered the calamari & shrimp cocktail. They are also perfect. We decided to share a 24oz ribeye with bone, which they cut in half and served on two different plates. Our sides were asparagus and a huge baked potato. Everything was cooked to perfection and came out nice and hot. The ribeye lacked a little flavor, but a bit of salt & pepper helped. For dessert, we went with this butter cake that came with vanilla bean ice cream. It was amazing. Mayra and the team came around often to check on us and made us feel special. Definitely will be back!!

The food was so delicious. We were able to enjoy music while dining. The staff was very attentive and made sure we had enough bread and drinks until our main meal was ready. The meal was so filling that they allowed us to take our dessert to our room since it was included in our meals. The dessert was very sweet so we shared one dessert at a time. The overall cost was very expensive so if you’re concerned with prices this is probably not your first choice.

My husband and I often eat out and love fine dining restaurants. Our overall experience here was great.
Customer service: We enjoyed the customer service. David, the manager, was super attentive towards the costumers. Alex, our waiter, made sure everything was to our liking. They checked in with us but not so much where it would be obnoxious! Couldn’t have asked for better service.
Food: I had the Lamb and it was perfectly delicious. The other members of our dining party had the sea bass, salmon and chicken. There were no complaints. Everyone enjoyed their plate, but I believe everyone agreed that the Lamb was the best. Hats off to the chef! The deserts (pictured) were good as well. We had the cheesecake, butter cake, monkey bread, carrot cake and Creme Brule. There were no bad options.
Drinks: A couple of us ordered sweet cocktails. We preferred our drinks to be a little sweeter than what we got, but our waiter helped to fix our drinks. I guess the bar was the weak link….but it wasn’t horrible. Pictured was the Bloody Mary. It was ok.
Ambiance: to be a considered ‘fine dining’ restaurant, I would’ve expected the dining hall to be a tad bit nicer. It was more of a 3/5 especially considering the price points. The restaurant didn’t exactly match the price or the ambiance but, again, it wasn’t horrible.
Overall, we still give it a 5/5 because the food was good and the service was great. We’ll be back.
