Update: Came for dinner and to listen to a guitar player. Fun place to visit especially if you can come by boat, but the 7 slots fill quickly and don’t turnover very fast. We had a great queso with chips, and loaded potato. The pulled pork and a dry brisket sandwich were average, both could have fresher buns. A little disappointed with the three small strips of brisket. Sides were appropriate and tasty. Staff was efficient and friendly.
January 2022 review. Previous rating was 4 stars. Another barbecue spot. Reasonably priced. New location is great and if you are on the water,use their docks to have lunch or dinner. Lunch special is an exceptional value. Special deserts from his mother are an extra treat.
In May we returned for breakfast. Prices are al a cart and portions are huge. I couldn’t finish my 3 (8” diameter) pancakes and bacon and my wife could not finish her egg and cheese biscuit and tater tots. Came out with a $14 bill for two, and extras to take home. Fun destination for breakfast if you come by boat.

Update to post, I tried something new it was the slaw dogs they were delicious. Again service was great they had a live band inside that sounded great we sat outside it’s a must visit when going to Greensboro Georgia. Great food and atmosphere, Everytime we are in town we stop in. I can’t say what’s best I love it all. Big boy burrito was my last meal and it was delicious.

As far as BBQ goes, this place is top notch! The food was amazing and the view from the porch was really nice. The atmosphere was fitting of trendy lakeside dining you’d hope to find in the area while still maintaining it’s rural BBQ vibe. While I was there, there was live music which was pretty good, even if it was a little overwhelming. Although there are some more expensive items on the menu, there were also some well-priced items.
As far as the actual food went, everything my friend and I had was delicious. Brunswick Stew is one of those foods that can vary greatly from place to place and is hit or miss, but the stew from Georgia Butts was incredible. The Mac & Cheese was also really good and creamy. The pulled pork was mouthwatering and didn’t have any large hard chunks in it, which I was super grateful for.
Overall, this is a place that’s worth the trip.

Had a great dining experience right on the lake. Staff was friendly and the food is wonderful. Love me some good BBQ. I recommend to stop by here as this was the best place I found for miles and it was in such a great location.

WONDERFUL experience! Friendly staff, clean restrooms, delicious food and lots of dining options from the dining room to the covered porch to individual picnic tables by the lake. Definitely worth a stop and highly recommended.

Neat atmosphere with good food and excellent service. The meals all come with drink included. I highly recommend the potato salad and bake beans along with the BBQ chicken and pork

The atmosphere and service or five star but coming from North Carolina not a lot could be said for the BBQ. You could have probably done about as good in a crock pot.. the fried okra cabbage fried in bacon grease were excellent and had stand-alone flavors, I wish I could have said the same for the barbecue

Nice look from the outside but food leaves you lacking. No grill on site so bbq has to be oven broiled. Ribs were tough and burnt. BBQ was ok but had a sweet sugary taste. Sauces are nothing but ketchup, vinegar and water and you have to fight flies to eat. The Brunswick Stew was ok but had that same sugary taste. Wait staff tries to be friendly but comes off more as smart Alec. They seem to cater more towards a young boater atmosphere who would be looking for drinks and fast food while listening to the band on site.

Amazing Brunswick stew. Very friendly and attentive staff. Everything was clean and sanitary. Thank you guys for the amazing food. The fried shrimp was so fresh and it just melted in my mouth. Beautiful views and great music. Look forward to coming back
