We went to celebrate my friend’s wedding. Kaila was exceptional. She was attentive, friendly and made our visit that much better. The food was amazing. My shrimp mac and cheese was tasty and so filling but that salmon crab cake with mango sauce … perfection!! I’d have had more of those had I not ordered the Mac n cheese. Will definitely stop by again when in the area.

The Lake House is one of those restaurants that is always a hit no matter the occasion and the company. I have tried it for lunch and dinner and it delivers every single time.
The last time I was there, we celebrated a birthday and everyone had a great time. Food was delicious and service – excellent. We had asked for a quieter space and were seated by the windows on the second floor which was lovely. During the day you get a nice view of the water and even the Toronto outline across the lake.
Our choices ranged from a kids staple – chicken nuggets and French fries which was a great size portion, Pecan crusted salmon – backed to perfection and the sauce was amazing, Tiger Shrimp fettuccine that had spinach, mushrooms and sun-dried tomatoes in to and Risotto with roasted artichoke and tomato. Everything tasted great. I am generally used to more of a creamier risotto but the taste was nevertheless excellent. I also like that they let different members of the same group decide separately if they want to go with a pre-fixed menu so while my husband opted for it, I was able to just order from the regular dinner menu.
Our server was attentive and helpful, overall we noticed that every other member of their staff was friendly and kind as well.
Desserts options were great, my favourite is the Nutella mini cup but we also ordered the tiramisu and it was a size big enough for all 4 of us to share as well.
We were very pleased with our experience and will continue to return.

I’ve driven by this place for years and never stopped in until recently. The food was amazing. The atmosphere was that of a fine dining restaurant and the service was impeccable.
I had the lamb, shank and baked brie. Highly recommend both the the baked brie was wrapped in a fluffy pastry and presented with a tart was fantastic. And the lamb shank was fall off the bone delicious and surrounded by mashed potatoes and some Mediterranean chickpea dish, which was all right.

We celebrated our anniversary dinner and were delighted to be seated at a perfect lake view table, just as we had requested. The food was truly amazing, and the service was exceptional.
What stood out most, however, was the truly welcoming atmosphere. Unfortunately, we have experienced discrimination in other restaurants as an Asian couple, but here, our server, Amber, treated every customer with genuine respect and equality. It made the experience wonderful.
We will certainly be back next time!

Amazing view, Amazing.food, Amazing staff. Worth the price. We just came there today for lunch and left with good vibes and good mood. The last time I had the same made of a New York style striploin was when we went to las vegas, and I always said, I can never find the same cook of a striploin here in Ontario from any restaurant we have been UNTIL NOW……WOW! it very well done and soft and tender. We will try the Dinner time next time and maybe in the summer time for the Patio ❤️

Very beautiful, quaint, old house restaurant. Service was great and very accommodating. We went with a group of 12 and they were great when we had to change tables around at arrival. We sat in a room with electric fireplace and sky lights. Very warm and comfortable.
The food was all great from pasta, to mussels, to burgers to chicken skewers.
Very reasonable timing on food orders. Fresh warm bread that we ordered was delicious. Bills were reasonable.

The Lake House was absolutely amazing from start to finish. We started with the calamari and tuna tartare, and both were incredible — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The calamari was perfectly crispy, and the tuna tartare had just the right balance of texture and seasoning.
For our mains, we tried the shrimp mac & cheese, Great Canadian burger, fish tacos, and Namaste salad — and everything was fantastic. The shrimp mac & cheese was rich and creamy with a great kick of seafood flavor, the burger was juicy and cooked to perfection, and the fish tacos were fresh and full of flavor. The Namaste salad was light yet satisfying, a perfect balance to the richer dishes.
Overall, The Lake House delivered excellent food, great portions, and a beautiful dining experience. Highly recommend — it’s a spot that truly lives up to the hype.

Amazing experience, amazing food, amazing atmosphere. Mel our server was so sweet. The hostess, food runners were amazing and welcoming. I definitely recommend this place. I loved the flavour of the lamb burger. The Fries were absolutely delicious. I got the Neapolitan cake so fluffy and chocolate goodness.

My husband and I dined at Lake House Restaurant on October 21, 2025, to celebrate his birthday, and it was absolutely perfect. Our server, Rhonda, was exceptional — warm, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. Her recommendations were spot-on from appetizer to dessert (the Key Lime Pie was the best I’ve ever had!).
