First timer! As a plant-based eater, I’ve found a new place! Great food selections! Everything was tasty! Even the chia pudding dessert which I normally don’t care for! The atmosphere was great- lived all the greenery! And our server Brooke was super friendly, attentive and efficient! Even the other non-based eaters in our party loved it! Definitely returning!

I visited SOW Plated a few weeks back with my family, and overall it was a memorable experience that reflects the restaurant’s emphasis on Sustainable, Organic, and Wellness-focused dining. The moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt calm and intentional, matching their philosophy of clean, thoughtful eating. The dishes we ordered showcased that commitment—everything tasted incredibly fresh, and several plates offered unique, vibrant flavors that stood out from typical restaurant fare.
The non-vegetarian options were especially impressive. Each dish was seasoned beautifully and felt both wholesome and indulgent at the same time. However, the vegetarian item we tried fell a bit short; it lacked the same depth of flavor and creativity that the other dishes delivered, which was a little disappointing considering the restaurant’s wellness-forward branding.
One area that definitely needs improvement is the service. Our server was not very attentive, and we frequently found ourselves trying to flag them down for basic needs. Additionally, the dessert took more than 20 minutes to arrive, which disrupted the flow of the meal.
Despite these service hiccups, SOW Plated still offers a refreshing dining experience with its clean ingredients and standout flavors. With a bit more attention to service consistency, it could easily become a top favorite.

Sow used to be one of my favorite restaurants. During Covid, they were consistently reliable to serve excellent food to-go. Since then, prices have doubled and portions have shrunk. I thought: ok, I understand. Coming out of COVID is probably rough. Tonight, however, I ordered the Harvest Salad and Pad Thai, and it was pathetically dismal. The lettuce for the salad was quite soggy and ridiculously sparse while the pad Thai was mushy with stringy, mushy bell peppers as the vegetables. Not only am I astounded by the price for this, I am astounded they’d ever give that to someone to eat. This was the nail in the coffin for me. Adios, SŌW, and good luck.

We had a fantastic dinner here tonight with exceptional service from Matt. It is always refreshing to dine at a restaurant with knowledge of food concerns. I was able to easily dine dairy and gluten free. The cold pressed cocktail Roots was the perfect sweet and tangy.

Delicious, healthy, fresh food – a great place to grab a meal to catch up with friends or even celebrate an occasion. They were able to make modifications to the dishes, they particularly made my dish spicier as requested.

Would highly recommend the cauliflower appetizer, it is well cooked and flavorful.

Update: went for brunch here. Got the chicken sweet potato biscuit sliders, which tasted good, but would say they are on the dry side. The cacao cake is definitely delicious and surprisingly paired well with the goji berry ice cream.

Presentation is just stunning. Food is bright, healthy and clean, although bland.
The Cucumber cocktail and the sauce that was served with the edamame dumplings were the winners for our visit. The uniqueness in flavor profile for those two items carried the meal.

one of the best happy hours in Colombis! The fresh juice cocktails are amazing and actually really cheap on happy hour. Food is delicious and good portions

SOW is a great health food restaurant with decent vegetarian and high quality protein selections. I came here for lunch and tried their signature vegetarian burger. My server said that the burger was the best veggie burger that she had. I agreed with her. It tasted flavorful with decent pickled cabbage and great dressing. But I still preferred real meat to this bean based patty. The homemade chips and hummus tasted special but mediocre.
Not like other expensive health food restaurants, this place had a reasonable price and great happy hours. Service was not bad and WiFi was fast. The room was really beautiful with plenty of green decorations and plants.

I was seated immediately upon arrival, which was a great start. The first waitress came by within a few minutes, and I asked about the happy hour. I was then directed to a large community high-top table and told that a bartender would assist me there.

Unfortunately, it took 21 minutes before anyone approached me again. Eventually, a manager (or someone who appeared to be one) came by and assured me someone would be with me shortly. After that, service picked up—drinks and food came out quickly.

The happy hour deals are pretty solid. We ordered the hummus, shrimp tacos, a cucumber martini, and a pineapple martini. I had the Wagyu burger, which was excellent.

One downside: the men’s restroom stall (which I used to help my daughter) had a wet floor and clearly needed attention.

Overall: Once service got going, everything was enjoyable. I’d recommend visiting during happy hour for good deals, but be aware the initial service might be slow.

We have mixed feelings about this restaurant. The healthy options are great, but the portion sizes are small. I had the ratatouille which was beautifully plated, but would have been better categorized as an appetizer rather than a meal. The mix of vegetables were interesting, but some were overcooked and some undercooked. The sauce had a distinctive out-of-the-jar taste, and I’m almost certain added afterwards. I do not recommend it. On the positive side the drinks arrived lightning fast, just don’t expect generous pours. The ambiance was nice and service good overall, but it’s not likely we’ll go back.
