Head was great. Attentive and cordial. Food was dry and heat lamp quality. It’s 2025 soon to be 2026, is no free refills on soda worth losing customers on $90 dollar family orders? Penny wise dollar foolish. Don’t go. Save your soul.
UPDATE — No response from the restaurant, clear sign they don’t care.
Here is the data on refill costs:
What it costs the restaurant
For fountain soda (the vast majority of refill situations):
Cost per refill: $0.05–$0.15
Soda syrup: ~3–5 cents
Carbonated water: ~1 cent
Ice + cup wear: ~1–2 cents
➡️ Even with generous pours, a refill rarely exceeds 15 cents in cost.

I’ve only ordered pickup twice. The first time was so good. I am a creature of habit and order the same thing each time. The second time was a big disappointment. Everyone can have a bad day, but for the price they charge, it should be excellent each and every time..
I travel from one state to another ( although reasonable distance ) , Luke’s does have a big inconsistency in their food..

Luke’s Inn is hands down the best Chinese restaurant within a 50-mile radius.
I’ve been eating here for over five years now, and I have to give them credit, they are remarkably consistent. Every time we visit, the food quality is the same: hot, fresh, and flavorful. I’ve personally never had a single quality issue, which says a lot (though of course, nobody’s perfect).
If you’re someone who loves eggs or bean sprouts in your fried rice, just a heads-up: their rice doesn’t include either. I do wish they added those, but honestly, I still enjoy it for what it is.
The sweet and sour chicken is absolutely perfect crispy, golden chicken pieces that are amazing to dunk in their addictively good sauce. The crab rangoons are always delicious and never burnt. They’re wrapped in a way that’s not overly bulky, so you could even pop one in your mouth whole (if that’s your style). And the egg rolls? They’re the best I’ve ever had. Period.
Excellent place, can’t get enough of Luke’s. Definitely stop by! (Sorry for the bad photo, we didn’t think to photograph it— just dug right in!)

Order came out before I could take a sip of water. Both apps and entrée were served within 5 minutes of ordering them. That’s a red flag, Sign that the food being served was pre-made and kept hot on a food warmer. The taste was bland and noodles dry. A 1/2 star is closer to a true score. Never again.

Crab rangoons are refried and filling was bland no crab taste. The chicken wings and boneless spear ribs are swimming in dark sticky sauce. Meat was so dry barely ate anything. The pork fried rice has no pieces of pork and and all food lacks any seasoning. Truthfully worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. Would not recommend.

I just found my new favorite Chinese Restaurant!❤️ service is amazing, friendly and fast!. Price is very reasonable for the amount of food you get (you will have leftovers) and the food is of course off the charts! Do yourself a favor and eat here.

We really liked the crab rangoons and egg rolls. The orange chicken was fresh and delicious! Wasn’t my favorite Kum Pao but was still good. Definitely worth a try.
