I was very disappointed with my experience. The vegetable lo mein was unfortunately very unpleasant. It had a sour taste, the noodles were broken up, and they seemed overcooked. I couldn’t eat it at all. My daughter tried it as well and said it had an odd taste.
I picked up the food after 7 PM, and the fried rice was dry and hard pieces in it-almost as if it had been sitting out for quite some time. The young lady said it would have egg in it but there was nothing. It was bland and no flavor.
This was my first time trying this restaurant, and sadly, it did not meet expectations.

The lady super nice but she has a little spice to her accent. Don’t be alarmed she is the only one answering the phones and putting in the orders. The rest of the crew thank you for all your hard work. The chicken fried rice taste good nothing like Chicago Chinese sorry I can’t find a place that can make it as good or close but loved your efforts.

The owner is very nice and will accommodate your request. The food tastes very good and is always made to order. They do serve a lot. The atmosphere is quiet. I love it because you can sit and enjoy your food without the feeling of being rushed or employees being loud.

I realized I was ordering from the Entree Lunch menu, so replaced the order from the Entree Dinner menu, which went through,
We’ve been customers since we moved to Forney, 13.5 years ago.
When my husband entered the restaurant to pick up his order, he was the only customer there. However, no one was working in the front, snd no one from the back came out to help him. After 10 minutes, a lady (manager? owner?) came in the front door and asked if he had been helped. She quickly got our order to him.
Unfortunately, the recipe for the egg rolls has now changed, which used to be a favorite item of ours. No longer. The crab rangoon recipe has more cream cheese now, but less crab and no green onions…bland. Entrees have fewer changes. What used to be our “go to” for take-out Chinese and Pad Thai is no more.
We will not be back.

We’d been searching for good Chinese food in the area, and I’m thrilled we finally found this place! We ordered dinner-sized cashew chicken and sesame chicken, plus a lunch-sized orange chicken for my son (he was so excited, I couldn’t even get a picture before he started eating!). Each meal came with your choice of rice and a chicken egg roll, which was a nice bonus. The cashew chicken was my favorite—I really enjoyed it. The portions, both lunch and dinner, were generous. Definitely worth a try!

Worst Chinese food I’ve had in my life. I ordered shrimp fried rice that tasted like boiled white rice with soy sauce and super chewy shrimp. I ordered the side of chicken wings as well which were the most disgusting wings I’ve ever had before. The batter was terrible, the grease was extremely old, and the flavor was not there. I paid wayyy too much for the food and it immensely disappointed. Waited forever for the food as well and was given a beeper that goes off when the food is ready, I watched my food sit on the counter for quite some time. The lady behind the register completely forgot and didn’t ring the buzzer until after she saw me walk in. Save your time and money you’ve been warned.

I was CRAVING Chinese food, so I decided to give Hong Kong a try. It was not good at all. I ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken lunch special with fried rice. For starters the sweet and sour sauce didn’t look right, bright red and watery consistency. I can’t even explain the taste it was just bad.. Next the chicken itself, when you find it let me know. It was literally a mix of breading and uncooked chicken bits. Lastly the “fried rice”, more like plain brown rice with maybe a little soy sauce on it. I’m so disappointed, I really wanted to like it, but I can’t. I literally took a couple bites and tossed it out.. I will not return.

Ignore other reviews this place is so good I almost got it 3 meals in a row. I ordered online and immediately drove there on Thurs night and Fri at lunch time and my order was ready when I walked in both times. In the picture it’s Mongolian beef with lo mein and I asked for no veggies. 10/10
