Ordered the El Pastor Taco and it had a good hefty serving of meat. You can actually make a second taco with second tortilla. Chicken enchilada a la carte was big and also came with lots of meat. Atmosphere was chill. Hospitable customer service.

I love taco Tuesday I love to ball on a budget. Carne Asada, Carnitas, and El Pastor are all quite good and there is a great salsa bar. Also the horchata and pineapple drink are good, if not a bit watery. The staff who works the front counter are very nice!

The prices are pretty high, I’d like to see prices that are more affordable for a rural community. The service and food are good, and it’s family owned and operated so local support is encouraged but it would be great if it was more sustainable for repeat visits.

Decent Mexican food served super fast by friendly and accommodating staff. The entire family seems to help out. A lot of fixings available to add zest, tang or saltiness to your meal. The place is unassuming, and most people get takeout – nothing wrong with that.

Taqueria Sonora
Taqueria Sonora was a great find. It was the small mom-and-pop type hole-in-the-wall that I live and breathe for.
I went with a super lengua burrito and a tripe taco. The tripe was perfectly fried and tucked into two tortillas and smothered with a delicious salsa. The burrito was awesome, the lengua was perfectly cooked and flavored. The burrito did fall apart towards the end, but I devoured everything!!
My wife went with the flautas that looked more like taquitos to me. She felt that they were good for taquitos, but did not satisfy her craving for flautas since taquitos and flautas are two very different dishes. The taquitos came with rice and beans which were really good. They also came with a side salad that had very spicy dressing that my wife was not able to eat. All in all, she enjoyed her meal.

Delicious tacos. I recommend the carne asada, chili Colorado and al pastor pork. My wife loved her tongue and tripe tacos.
Fair warning: The super tacos are 2x as full as a normal taco. I thought 3 wouldn’t be enough but I was stuffed.

Picked up some easy burritos. Fed the family for a cheap meal and really enjoyed the vegetarian burritos. They have a fantastic salsa bar and fresh tortilla chips!

We where in town for the weekend and felt like Mexican food so we tried this place out. This place has great food the super burritos are very filling, chimichangas were all right, kearny Asada plate is also very large feeling.
It took a little while to get the food because they where making it fresh.
