My husband and I are big fans of Pedros…we were there the day they opened and have been going back ever since. We went on Friday night, night before Valentines Day. They had a halibut special that was absolutely amazing!! We got to meet Dean, the chef…he was so nice and welcoming! Honestly one of the best halibut dishes we have had! Dean you outdid yourself! We look forward to tasting many more of your delicious recipes!

This was my first visit to Pedro’s Mexican Restaurant. We were a party of four. We were seated quickly and a waiter came right away for drink orders.
Soon after our drinks arrived we were asked about dinner orders. One in the party wanted an appetizer and her entree afterward. They accommodated her request perfectly. We all received our entrees immediately after she was done with her appetizer.
The food was hot, well-presented and generous portions. I have attached photos of the appetizer and all the dishes as they arrived.
The atmosphere was very good even though a bit noisy because the restaurant was very busy. We were able to have conversations among ourselves without talking loudly.
Pedro’s is one of those places you’ll enjoy time and time again. Give it a try.

Pedro’s is a Kennebunkport treasure you’ll want to visit twice (or more)!
Pedro’s is the kind of place that pulls you in with its charm and keeps you there with its people. My partner and I visited twice during our 3-day trip to Kennebunkport and we even tried for a third visit on our way home! Sadly, it wasn’t open for lunch that day, but that just means we’ll be back next time we’re in town.
From the moment we walked in, the vibe was fun yet relaxed. The restaurant is filled with religious statues and mementos that give it a unique, eclectic atmosphere – cool, fun, and totally unforgettable. We sat at the bar both nights and ended up closing it down, chatting with every bartender like we were longtime friends. Each one was warm, engaging, and genuinely enjoyable to talk with.
Meeting the owner, Norm, was a highlight. He’s the kind of person who makes you feel like you’re part of the Pedro’s family. His passion for the place is obvious, and it shows in every detail, from the decor to the drinks to the incredible food.
If you’re visiting Kennebunkport, Pedro’s is an absolute must. We’ll be back next time we’re in town and will probably be sitting at the bar again until last call.

Michael T -The bar manager made our experience so pleasant. He suggested great beverages and delicious munchies. What a great bar manager at a fun, relaxing restaurant in lower village Kennebunk! The outside patio on this beautiful day made us feel like we were on vacation in a south of the border location. Music, tropical vibes, and great food and drink! We love Pedro’s!

If you’re looking for some authentic Mexican food in Maine, this is your place. The food, atmosphere and overall fun is unmatched! We had a large party and they were very accommodating and service was fantastic for the number of people that we had. They had a large selection of margaritas and everybody enjoyed the different ones that they had. The Margarita Prima was probably the best of the lot! We enjoyed the tacos as well as the pork burrito, but probably the best dish was the chicken quesadilla. We will definitely be back next time we are in town.

For the service and atmosphere are 5 stars from me, but for the food, I am only giving 4 stars due to my chicken fajitas. Somehow, from the taste and looks, it seems like a pre-made or precooked chicken. (More or less like a frozen marinated chicken) It’s doesn’t seem as freshly marinated chicken. It’s not that great, and it’s not bad, just okay. I had way better chicken fajitas before.

Everything was incredible. Classic Margaritas at Happy Hour prices were so good. Special white queso was really good. Small nacho was a huge portion for two. Two taco dinner was spot on and fresh. Both shrimp and chicken tacos were delicious and different from one another. Their chicken Tinga was also very good. Their hot sauce was insanely hot. Good vibe and music making it lively and fun. Highly recommend this place.

Good for vegetarians & meat eaters as well. The veggie burrito didn’t have much flavor, the fajitas my fiance got were too salty, not very flavorful. Particularly because of the prices, I did expect better. Very friendly staff & service!
