A dive bar institution in Indian Hills. The awesome inside bar is tiny, but they have an adjacent covered patio, as well as a small front porch. Their motto is “Enter as Strangers, Leave as Friends” and it is mostly true, although the locals who frequent the joint can be a bit leery of outsiders. There are a couple of TVs and a couple of dart boards, but mostly this is a nice pitstop for a cold Coors if you are anywhere in the area.

We really wanted to like this place for an after hike bite to eat, but they didn’t have in stock many things on the small menu, ended up getting charged double because they input food they didn’t have and then put in the food they did have. The drinks and food were expensive for what they provided. The owner seemed extremely annoyed with us.
I think this would be a fun place to grab a drink and listen to music, but I would not recommend for much else.

Stopped in for a quick drink on Sunday, they were super busy, and had a band. The bartender was not friendly and seemed annoyed by us ordering 2 beers. Would have loved to stayed, but didn’t feel very welcomed. Only plus side was beers were very inexpensive, although we only stayed for the 1.

It takes decades to get this type of rustic dive patina and Sit N Bull has got it all. The food menu is surprisingly vast and deliciously homemade. A sleeper item is the beer battered chicken fingers. Tender and juicy with a whole hearted honest to goodness beer batter that’ll rock your socks. Everything is just right. Portions are more than generous, they are head turning. A must stop.

Atmosphere is completely chill, the folks that work here are friendly and respectful, added bonus is the “bar dogs”, sweetest animals ever!
Came in to order up grub for my lunch break and they did not disappoint, I ordered the Green Chili Bacon Cheeseburger (medium) and it was everything I had hoped for and more, burger juicy and tender, smothered in a generous helping of green chili, the bacon done to perfection and the cheese! not too much and not too little!
Tots were a great option for a side as they helped in sopping up the spillage from the burger.
Highly recommend this joint if you’re ever in the area!

After an unreal hike we stopped at the Sit N Bull and it was the best experience. Gretchen is an absolute gem and took care of us Canadians.

The back room is such a vibe. A nice pool table and bluetooth soundbar allowed us to crank classic rock while drinking some ‘Colorado Kool Aids’

We will 100% be back

It’s a hold hands kind of place in the women’s bathroom … it’s an iconic place for sure!
Tourists should stop in for a cold one! We did not try the menu so no review.

Been coming here ever since I started riding motorcycles almost 20 years ago. Thanks for letting us shelter from the rain even on their dark day. Another great memory of Sit n Bull. ❤️

Awesome Gem hidden away Just outside of Denver in the town of Morrison…
I showed up late, the kitchen had already closed, however the kitchen staff heard me ask for food and heard the bartenders response that the kitchen had just closed down…
I explained I was hungry, because I’ve been working all day in the mountains and was not able to make it to a normal food type establishment. The kitchen staff overheard the dialogue & stuck her head out Stating that she would make me whatever I wanted…
I Ordered the pulled pork nachos, they were superb at least as far as nachos go.
Very diverse group of people who seem to be the regulars all of which seem to like each other get along with everyone. This Little Bar was super friendly to outsiders, Made me feel welcome, and even try to rope me into their bar activities…
I was approached by several regulars who openly introduced Their selves and next thing you know shots were flying and they were buying…
I will definitely be returning I am bringing my out-of-town friends to this little place…

Thank you, Thank You SIT – N – Saloon!!!

Good service, decent food, nice atmosphere and… motorcycle parking.
Update: no designated motorcycle parking now, using the parking lot for patio seating. With that, they took away all the hard surface parking. The parking kinda sucks on the bike now as the surface is “iffy” at best.
