All sandwiches are prepared fresh in full view of the customer using delicious hearth-baked bread, USDA Choice Steak and the finest meats, cheeses and vegetables. The potatoes are hand selected, fresh-cut and flash-fried in cholesterol-free peanut oil. The lemonade is made from scratch every day using hand-squeezed lemons.

What happened to the customer is always right and I paid 3 sandwich total $67.00 today, but I asked for a large Philly steak without banana peppers and onions with Mustard and mayo with heavy mushrooms, y’all still put bananas peppers in my sandwich no mayo nor mustard. I’m not really supposed to have banana peppers and pulling them out and the taste is still in it. Secondly, I asked for a regular grill chicken sandwich that my dude can’t eat it. I thought about getting my son ham and Swiss then I changed it to a large italian sandwich 2 fries and a lot of Potatoes. I called y’all phone number and it’s a busy signal. I will never come back there. I tried eating it my throat is on fire because I’m not supposed to have it and my dude saying he’s not going to let me come back there.

I placed an order for delivery, but within 30 mins was delivered someone else’s order. Which was Grubhub’s fault and rectified by them. I immediately pressed the express reorder button in the app, and in 25 minutes I was delivered the correct order. My 2nd order was placed at 8:34pm and I had it in my hand by 9pm.
At first, I immediately noticed that the fries were cold. I dumped them out of the cup, and only the very core was still even luke warm. My sub, which was a grilled sub, was also warmish. I remembered when I got the other person’s order, how it was really warm since it had been made 20 minutes prior to me having it. So I got the idea to place it right next to my new sub and it’s technically a bit warmer.
Penn Station always cooks the fries to order, so there’s never any sitting around like McDonalds. I reached out to Penn Station just to inform them that it happened and yes, to tell them how I did not like that they gave me cold fries.
The immediate answer from the gentleman who answered was that it couldn’t be true because they “cook them to order everytime”. When I tried to explain more he then pivoted to how the driver must’ve “taken his sweet time”. Which I quicly reminded him that at the time of calling, it had only been 30 minutes since I had placed the order in the app and that 25 mins delivery does not mean the driver took his sweet time.
I tried pressing the subject about my situation, and I even asked if the driver had taken my order during the first mixup and they confirmed with me that no, the driver didn’t take it. Which confirmed everything I had already assumed happened. To me, the fries felt and tasted exactly as fries do when they’ve been left out for an hour.
All I wanted to do was to call and say that it wasn’t right, and that they should have at least cooked new fries. I knew since I ordered through Grubhub, that Penn Station wasn’t going to directly help me. I’m also not that picky, and in my opinion the sub was still fine at that point. But fries are NOT good when they go cold, and they arrived cold.
Even though my first order got mixed up, I gotta give Grubhub credit for getting both of those deliveries to my in less than 30 mins. I’m not sure I’ve had that in a long time.

The subs we had were extremely flavorful. Looking at my wife’s Steak and Cheese, at first glance, appeared to be skimpy on the meat, however the sandwich was tasty. My wife would not have hesitated to complain if it didn’t meet her standards. I had the Classic Italian off the grill with the multi-grain roll. OUTSTANDING! Flavor poured out of it, the pepperoni, ham, and hard salami hot were juicy and tasty. The only negative was the fries. They were either over cooked or the oil needed to be changed. They were too brown and not fluffy inside. Will go back again.

My first time today! Very pleasantly surprised. I expected just another sub shop lol! I got the regular size Italian toasted and a small ff. Very good portions and the fries are worth going for by themselves! Customer service was pleasant as well.
