A Hit with Ramen and Sushi Lovers!
I recently took my son and his friends, all big fans of ramen and sushi, to Okada Ramen and Sushi at One Loudoun, and it was a fantastic decision! We were definitely not disappointed.
The ramen bowls are generously sized, and the fact that these hungry teenagers devoured every last drop speaks volumes about how delicious it was. They also enjoyed the gyoza and, of course, the sushi, which was a big hit all around.
One thing to note is that while I couldn’t find their sushi menu online initially, they provided it right away when we asked. It turns out they do have a link for an online sushi menu, which I’ll be sure to check out before our next visit to plan ahead.
I found their prices to be bit more as compared to other ramen and sushi spots in the area. Our waiter let us know about a great deal: on Mondays, ramen bowls are just $14 or $15, a nice discount from the usual $18.75.
Overall, Okada ramen and Sushi offers quality food, a pleasant ambiance, and excellent service. It’s a solid recommendation for anyone looking for delicious ramen and sushi in the One Loudoun area!

UPDATE: We’ve been back twice and both times were superb! I don’t know if the dinner portions are higher but we definitely had more rice this time and meat. 10/10 Recommend
Food was delicious! We thought it was going to be the cook in front of you type hibachi but it wasn’t. The only thing criticism we had was the amount of fried rice that comes with your meal. About 1/2 a cup more would’ve been ideal.

Okada is a very clean, well appointed Japanese restaurant with excellent, delightfully creative artisans in the sushi bar and in their kitchen. The food is well priced, generous and delicious! Their servers are warm and friendly, attentive and efficient. Our regular server even remembers some of the unique details of our past orders, which makes us feel all the more special. Many of them say farewell greetings as we depart, making us alway look forward to the next time we get to eat there.

Stopped in here for dinner on New Year’s Day. Staff was very courteous and friendly. Server helped explain some of the different ramens. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. Menu had a lot of choices.

Okada is a Pretty decent Japanese restaurant that serves Sushi and Ramen.

I stopped by on a winter weekend while visiting the One Loudoun area.

I ordered the D49. Spicy Chicken Miso Ramen Dinner as I came at 3 PM which was a little after the dinner hours.

It was pretty good. Came with bamboo shoots, seaweed, and boiled egg and the spicy chili sauce on the side. I asked for it on side as I wanted to experience the taste w/o spice and then add it myself if needed.

Overall, it was pretty tasty. Nothing outstanding, but maybe my taste buds weren’t functioning. It was not bad overall, and was filling as I hadn’t a proper breakfast even. I would rate it 7/10.

Not bad, and the cost for dine-in was a little over $20, which wasn’t bad but not cheap either. For the service, I’ll give it a pass.

Overall, impressed with this Japanese restaurant and hopefully will be back to try something else on the menu, if I find myself in the One Loudoun area again.

It’s a very busy place so we recommend to make a reservation or you may be lucky to get seated at the high sushi table.

Sushi is being made right in front of you so it’s nice to watch it being made.

Food is delicious, at least the options we ordered.

There is a parking house across the street but it’s busy as well so be ready to drive a couple of floors up to find your spot.

One Loudoun is getting too overcrowded and so is this place.

Prices are a bit higher for the size of the portions but again, you are paying the One Loudoun premium.

As a foodie in Northern Virginia, I can confidently say that Okada is one of my top three restaurants in the area and by far my preferred destination for sushi. I have been a customer of this establishment practically from day one. Both their sushi and ramen are amazing.

Always an amazing experience. Love being greeted personally by the owners and staff, just shows they have great customer service and management.

Started with an appetizer, and had my usual hibachi steak entree, then one of the new staff members recommended the mochi for dessert which was uhmazing ✨ hand decorated of course..shout out to Laura.

Would def recommend 10/10

One of the few places open late on a weekend but the food here was middling quality presented on amazing dinnerware and the restaurant ambiance gets many bonus points. Even though we were only 1 of a few dine-in customers service was overall pretty slow and lacking including a sushi platter not coming with wasabi. Some of the fish were clearly not the best quality and seemed like it wasn’t fresh. Prices are ok for the portion sizes and Japanese cuisine but the quality of the food needs to be better to match the price point. The miso soup and salad starter were surprisingly highlights and super delicious.

I travel all over the country and try ramen in every city I go to (that offers the dish). Ramen is one of my most favorite dishes.
First, let me start off with the positives. This was a delivery order and the food was well packaged and came exactly as I ordered.

As for the ramen, the broth was good and flavorful, the green onions were fresh and plentiful, eggs were over cooked but still tasty, chili oil was great, and noodles were good. Where I really lost the taste was with the bean sprouts. They were charred i believe and that charred flavor over took the entire bowl. I’ve never seen it before and after today, hope I don’t ever get charred bean sprouts again. (I should have tried them first, but, I didn’t).

Secondly, I ordered edamame. The edamame was extremely disappointing. Many were yellow, wrinkly, and over all the app needed salt.

While this was over all not a great dinner, I would not say I don’t recommend this place. I would certainly give them another opportunity, but I would NOT have the burnt bean sprouts. Without those, my rating would have been higher for the ramen.

*I forgot to take a photo of the dish put together
