In Indio on vacation and stopped by this Mexican restaurant near where we are staying. It was pretty busy with lots of people coming for pickup orders. The food is fantastic. Went for Taco Tuesday and came back Thursday to try more of the menu. Loved the quesabirrias.

Just happened to come in while waiting for my pick up order at Walmart. Such a happy surprise! The food was delicious and fresh. All produce (Lettuce, Cilantro, onions) were crisp and flavorful. The al pastor was seasoned perfectly. Staff were kind and courteous. If I was a local I’d come again!

Excellent restaurant! 4 of us walked in Saturday, seated right away. Ordered a couple of carnitas burritos, one fajitas, and one ocean fish soup. All four were very tasty, especially the soup, (crab, shrimp, mussels, octopus, and fish) For all that we paid $69.00 plus tip. Good dinner..

Gotta agree with others when they say that service is rather slow. It really is. Food, however, is excellent. We ordered the carne asada and eggs with machaca. Both quite tasty and very ample portions. You definitely get your money’s worth. Salsa bar had lots of selections but no identifying labels as to the level of heat, only a notice to not waste and only take what you’re going to eat. Yeah right. Our table, as well as others, needed to be wiped down. Lots of nearby parking and the restrooms are clean even if a bit dim.

When in today and seen guerro’s had a
sign of carne asada fries. The special said $12.50 but the receipt said $12.99.
When I approached the waitress I told her if I can get a refund and she said “no” that they changed the system and they can’t. I said okay well I need to speak to a manger because you guys can’t have a sign that says 12.50 and than charge me 12.99. She never brought the manager. I will never go back there because its clear that there stealing money outta customers pockets by falsely advertising! Even if it’s 0.49 cents. When I left they still didn’t change the price. Be careful and make sure u guys see what there charging.

Taqueria Guerrero is a nice restaurant to sit and dine in. But my problem with the place is that the line to order you’re food is long most of the times I come in here. And that’s fine because that means they have good food. But the problem is the línea are always long and you have to wait a long time because there’s only one person behind the cash register taking your order. They’re two ordering computers but only use one. I don’t understand why because people then have to wait a long time. And the food takes a long time to cook. I came in at 11:30 am and got my food served at 12:05 pm on a slow day. The Chilaquilas were not as good as I thought they would be. I’ve come here before and had other types of food and they were good. This is the first time with the chilaquilas and I can tell you it’s a big disappointment. I will come back and do a new review and hope there is a change. The restaurant can do better.
