Ordered the Soy Garlic bowl and waited about 10 minutes for it. Cashier was nice and welcoming and the restaurant is very clean.
Chicken was drenched in oil and so was the rice and it was extremely sweet. The 2 small pieces of cucumber was cute. Was expecting more vegetables for a rice bowl. Chicken and batter wasn’t crunchy at all. It got soaked in oil and made it soggy. I had high hopes for this place but I was disappointed.
This place has potential to be good if they cut back on the oil and sugar.

I truly think this place deserves a higher rating.
The food quality is excellent especially for the price. The chicken was fresh, piping hot, juicy, crispy, and well-dressed (not too too saucey which I tend to see at other korean fried chicken spots). I could even taste a difference with the pickled radish, which was crispy and refreshing. At times, this side can lack the crispness due to restaurants letting it sit too long before serving.
The service was also friendly and fast. I highly recommend this place.

A korean fried chicken spot in Gardena?!?! Honey Dress Fried Chicken is the spot to be!!! They run daily specials, which is amazing. I’m a big fan of Korean fried chicken and they done it right.
I ordered the soy garlic rice bowl with chipotle mayo which I have to say the portion size is worth the price. It comes with like 6 pieces of chicken depending on what flavor you get, I got the soy garlic and such a big fan. The bowl comes with your chicken that’s criiiiispy, rice, Mac salad and kimchi. Everything was delicious and the flavors were balancing. So much flavor that made my mouth fell in love!
Service was quick and friendly. The ambiance is bright and well lit. The decor/color scheme is black and yellow to represent bee colors. They also do catering if you need! Seating can be limited. Parking can be an issue in the little plaza that it’s located in. My suggestion is to go while students are in school. This place is worth checking out if you love Korean fried chicken!

Honey Dress really satisfied my fried chicken craving! The chicken was super crunchy, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. Sauces were excellent (the super spicy & chipotle mayo was my favorite). The bowls seem really popular and worth trying.
Only downside: the fries were just okay. If they were better, I’d easily give this place a 9/10. As it stands, I’d rate it an 8.5/10. Definitely planning to come back!

Decent place but slow service and the chicken was just ok. The food took a bit of time to get out in spite that we were one of the few customers in the dine in area. The deluxe cheese fries combo was disappointing. It was just doused in the sauce which makes for some soggy fries which no one wants. The fries themselves were ok as is but with the sauce, it would make it not palatable. There honestly wasnt that much cheese despite the adverisement. The pickle and jalapenos were a nice touch. The deluxe sandwich my friend had was decent but nothing great to say about it.
The staff was very nice and attentive. The decor was more expansive than it looks with the mirror they have plus the TV with the constant music videos and somewhat kpop centric music.
Overall I thought it was ok.

We’ve always seen this place, but never went to it but when we finally decided to go, we were pleasantly surprised. Good workers, helpful, and friendly. The food was phenomenal. The fries are great, but the chicken was definitely on point. The only drawback is the space is quite tight and could create a problem if it gets busy but other than that super legit.

Honestly, I’ve been to this area several times but not this chicken store because there are many delicious Asian restaurants around which draw all our attention. One day, we decided to try it. We both surprised by how good it was.

By far the most crunchy chicken I’ve ever had. I had the regular fried chicken and the mild chicken wings. The sauce is nice and sweet with a spicy. Fries are basic. You should differently try this place.

We tried all 3 sandwiches and they were okay in our book flavor on the soy garlic was a little bland, the honey spicy mild was just like bbq sauce that was our favorite the chicken was a HUGE piece in between the buns so that was nice! But I wish there were more choices other than fries (and there is) but not for the sandwiches over all my son & I gave it a 3.5 out of 5 Now here’s the real question are we gonna go back??? Probably not anytime soon we both agreed that there are better tasting sandwiches out there. Our next place is the new musubi place that open a few doors down from this chicken place.
