Stober’s is one of the best bars in Lansing, Wednesday night music bingo is awesome, and the jukebox and other decor can’t be beat. It’s a small bar but have a nice big open area in case you have a larger group.

The tagline “Oldest Bar in Lansing” was the reason that finally got us to visit and it didn’t disappoint. There is a shuffle board table with a digital score keeper-which I love to help with score disputes, lol. Plenty of drinks to choose from. There were a pretty good crowd for a Tuesday night and had a live band playing. The bartender was very attentive despite how busy it was and could tell there were a mix of regulars and new timers like us. Enjoyed the atmosphere and hope to be a frequent patron now that we are living in the area.

If you like historical pubs, this is a must. Great atmosphere very cool bar. Bar maids were top-notch. Cocktails were righteous if you pass through town and you don’t stop you’ll be missing out on a piece of Michigan history. Cheers!!

My husband and I had drinks here on a weekend. It’s an older quaint bar that also has shuffleboard. You can look at an old photo album that has been kept since the bars opening years ago. Very interesting. The service wasn’t great. Made us our drinks that was it.

Bartender and customers were all very friendly and inviting. They have shuffleboard which was really fun to play while just hanging out. Def a place to go back to.

Stober’s has one of the coolest bars I’ve seen. The woodworking is great, and stained glass wizard is pretty sweet. The beer was cheap, and I was very happy with my order and service. Like any good bar, it has a crowd of regulars who seem to know everyone else. It was still a welcoming place though, and I’d love to stop by with some friends someday.

I’ve stopped in 3 times while passing through Lansing. Stobers is a must see place for any dive bar lover! The exquisite carvings are quite literally out of this world. Pickled eggs for a snack. Service with a smile. Great drink selection.
