Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers has officially become my go-to burger spot in Marshall. For a fast-food place, the quality is way better than what you normally get. The burgers are always hot, the fries are crispy, and everything actually tastes fresh instead of thrown together.
The service has been solid every time I’ve gone. They get the food out quick, but it never feels rushed or sloppy. And the frozen custard is the perfect way to finish the meal. If you have not tried the concrete or a shake, you’re missing out.
Marshall does not have a ton of great burger options, so finding a place that is consistently good has been a win. I will definitely be back.

Can I just say the customer service was beyond excellent the lady in drive thru was so nice the receipt says Miesha and Dawn but the seasoned lady with the glasses was so helpful and kind. The Patty melt and fries were so good. Please stop by.

On the fifth day after their grand opening, we stopped in for a late lunch. The parking lot is poorly designed and rather small. There are three entrances to bring you into the dining room. There are two counter people to take your order, or you can submit a digital order to pick up. We ordered at the counter from the over head menu board. Both choosing meals with signature smash patty burgers, fries, beverages, and cheese curds. The order was prepared quickly and served hot.
After our meal, we splurged for frozen custards.
While waiting for the custards, we had a visit with the GM of the restaurant. Upon leaving, they were steadily serving customers both inside and through the drive-through.

I order from a lot because we like the custard. Well there is a problem with our order every single time the middle aged black man that works here touches our order. This man couldn’t make a concrete if his job depended on it. He beats the toppings smooth every time. Its like he doesn’t know the difference between barely mixing so the toppings are mixed into the custard and are still visible. He blends it smooth as a milkshake every time. Tonight he made the drinks and theyre only half filled. If this man is the manager I can see why this location doesn’t get very much business. If he’s not management he definitely needs to be retrained!

I ate at Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers for “friends and family” day. I was greeted kindly by the cashier’s who offered recommendations for the prime rib steakburger as well as the new cold brew caramel crunch custard concrete. (Try saying that 5 times fast!)
Even with a packed house, there was plenty of seating inside the restaurant. You can also enjoy fresh air without sacrificed hospitality outside at the patio tables. I like that they have a wheelchair accessible table, so everyone can enjoy.

I ordered a prime rib steakburger with fries. The shoestring fries were crispy and hot! They come with a great amount of Freddy’s special seasoning blend, but you can grab extra packets if you really love it! The burger comes as a double, but you can order it as a single, or add as many patties as you’d like! The steakburger patties are on the thinner side and I am a big fan of the crispy edges. I didn’t have to wait long for my food.
I also ordered a cold brew caramel crunch custard concrete. (*Whew*) I got my dessert before the burger and fries, but I’m not disappointed by that. It was creamy and delicious with the perfect amount of crunch. You can also pay for your custard up front and ask for them to make it after you finish eating!
Last but not least, I’d like to share about the delicacy that is Freddy’s Fry Sauce! It is definitely a signature flavor that you won’t find anywhere else! The variety is nice as well. Freddy’s offers fry sauce, jalapeno fry sauce, and smokey fry sauce. My favorite is the jalapeno for sure. It adds a delicious kick to the original flavor without being too spicy.
Overall, Freddy’s is a premium brand that brings something unique to the community. They are more than just “another burger restaurant”. Inside, you can read about the history of the restaurant and it’s founders. The diner-like atmosphere really makes you feel right at home. I will definitely be returning soon.

don’t spend your money here! It’s pathetic! Slow slow terrible service….these employees need to go to “Freddy academy” learn how to make a simple sundae! I paid $6 for a mini turtle that said its was $4.49 on menu! It literally had 5 bites of custard! Heck a kids ice cream has more than that! Do better Marshall! No one’s going to pay their hard earned money for the trash you’re putting out!

We ordered one custard and two Sundays in the drive through totaling over $20. Literally sat at the pick up window for thirty minutes without anyone ever coming by. My husband had to park and go in and ask for them. They were sitting in a freezer ready but no one bothered to bring them to the window. I’m not exaggerating on the thrity minutes, my husband receives texts when a purchase is made on his card and the time stamp was over thirty minutes.
