A local bar with surprisingly good food. In the middle of God’s country a beautiful drive to get here in any season. Serving a wide variety of inverness beers. We ordered a pound of shrimp and were surprised at how big they were steamed in beer they were very goid. The buffalo wings were ok. The winners for us were the smash burgers and pizza.

Disappointing Bar Service
I really want to love this place—the atmosphere is cozy and the Inverness location is great. However, the bar service has been consistently poor across multiple visits.
On our most recent visit, there were four bartenders working with very few customers at the bar. Despite making eye contact with staff and sitting down right after they cleared the previous customer’s items, we were completely ignored. Not even a simple “be right with you” to acknowledge our presence.
This isn’t a one-time issue—it’s happened every time my guests and I have tried to enjoy this spot. The lack of basic customer service and the dismissive attitudes are really disappointing.
I’ll give it another chance, but if the service doesn’t improve, we’ll have to take our business elsewhere.

My boyfriend and I stumbled upon the YBT when we were planning on going somewhere else and found out they didn’t have a cook. We Googled close by places and found this amazing little gem! The bartender, Signe, was amazing! They were relatively busy and she made sure everyone was served while still maintaining a personal, pleasant conversation with people making them feel very welcomed. We ordered chicken nachos and a shrimp salad sandwich to split. The food was incredible! The shrimp salad was delicious with large shrimp that was falling off the bun it was so stacked. The chicken nachos were extremely flavorful. The cook is incredible! The drinks were yummy and my boyfriend loved the selection of local draft beers! The place (and bathrooms) was very clean and very welcoming. We will definitely be back especially when I’m craving shrimp salad!!

Highly recommend Yellow Barn Tavern. The food and drinks are great, the vibes are chill, and the people running it are awesome and super friendly. I like the smash burger, any pizza, and the pulled pork.
