We googled places for a deep dish Chicago style pizza that hunt just crashed that day and it popped up on the list. We’ve never been here so we decided to try. It is a small little hole- in- the- wall restaurant but the waitress and staff were friendly and welcoming when or family walked in. We told the waitress that we wanted to try the deep dish and we’re told that it would take AN HOUR. Although that is a long time, we came specifically for that dish. So we put that in, along with some other food to tide us over while we wait. The garlic bread was AMAZING! They are NOT afraid of garlic, which we love. The meatballs are made fresh and are flavoriful. All the while we could smell the deliciousness of our pizza baking in the oven. Finally, our pizza was done and let’s just say the family was impressed and stuffed! The crust was crisp and not too thick, the sauce was bright, the cheese was melty. My youngest two and I couldn’t even finish our whole slice! Then they all shared a signature canoli. We will definitely be back to try the other menu items. Thank you all for a wonderful experience.

Last Friday my wife, daughter and I were looking for a healthy pizza place and we found Il Baretto, This little gem was perfect, from outside you can’t appreciate the warmth and great vibes of the place. We ordered Yuca based pizza, certainly different and great flavor. We will ask for less tomato sauce next time as the base by itself provides lots of flavor. Daisy the owner was fantastic and Miranda did a great job with the service. We will definitely come back!

When I googled before going, it says chicago deep dish pizza takes an hour so I ordered over the phone in advance. Pizza was amazing and all servers were so nice and friendly. It was small size though, pizza was such a big portion for 2 girls. I really recommend trying this place!

This Italian restaurant truly delivers on both food and service! From the moment we were seated, the staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The food was outstanding—especially the homemade gnocchi, which was perfectly tender and paired with a savory, rich mushroom sauce that was full of depth and flavor. The red sauce was equally impressive: vibrant and well-balanced. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared, and nothing was rushed. Cozy vibe of 12 tables with an open visible kitchen and enthusiastic hospitality. Let’s get into this LASAGNA BABY! It was INCREDIBLE.. comparable to your grandmama’s.. fresh and an absolute party in my mouth! Garlic rolls were hot, garlicky, parmesany, and calorydelicious and that PIZZA, the all meat one, we ordered as well and let’s say the table was quiet. Had an amazing experience at Il Baretto, last week. It is a small little place in Plantation That I have been wanting to try since they are supposed to have Chicago style pizza, which I wound up not ordering! Miranda, our server was so very friendly and attentive. She made great recommendations. We share a nice bottle of wine and ordered Chicken Parm, Spaghetti and meatballs, and one of the specials with pasta and truffle. The flavoring of the sauce was delicious. The side salads were huge. It was my birthday, so they brought me a delicious slice of my choice. We also ordered two additional desserts that were all scrumptious The owner came to our table and chatted with us for a while, which was a lot of fun. She told us about their specialty nights, so we made a reservation for the Chicago pizza night tonight! Being from Chicago, I am excited to give their pizza a try! All in all, it is a quaint place with a home feel, delicious food and ambience!

You will not be disappointed, fresh ingredients, small menu but it truly shows the saying that sometimes less is more. We tried appetizers and the Branzinho (fish) was fantastic!
