Whoa! Firehouse has fries now. They are not your regular fries, but they are ridged to give a good crisp crunch. The staff were quick and took our order with zero mistakes. Food came out looking better than the pictures. A nice touch with Firehouse is that there are a lot of educational and historical displays posted as well as on the cups that you can take with you.

How happy, courteous, and friendly the employee were. I ordered online and it says it wouldn’t be ready for 40 mins. I got there 10 mins after ordering and they got right on it and kept me updated on how long, which wasn’t necessary but I appreciated it. It made me feel like they cared.

I have been a Firehouse customer for many years and during those years the service was friendly and good. Now it’s the total opposite, the staff appears to be sleepy and my last three orders have been incorrect. I even told the cashier that the last two times I ordered, it was wrong. So I expected something different this time. And where they had been leaving things off my sandwich they made it with everything on it as to be funny when I only asked for steak, cheese and meat. I had enough vegetables for a garden! Then I called back several times to make a complaint and no one answered the phone. So I will be calling their corporate number first thing in the morning. I don’t enjoy throwing money away, if you don’t want to work, move along so someone that wants to can.

Pulled up and walked inside because the open sign was on and I needed some dinner on the way home. As soon as I walked in at 9:45pm, this lady yells “We’re closed!” I said “oh, ok.” The sign is on and the closing time is 10pm. If you don’t want to stay open until then, change your hours or turn the open sign off. Very rude and unnecessary.

Maybe it was an off day for them, but i probably won’t be coming back. I watched one of the workers wash his hands and dry them, then turn and see me standing at the counter to be served and he went back to the sink shaking his hands as if they weren’t dry. When I turned to leave one of the other workers rushed over to take my order.

I waited 12 minutes while half a dozen employees ran around doing inconsequential things like turning off the closed sign when the store closes at 9:00 pm and it was only 6:30 pm and one guy made the orders for everyone waiting. It was no wonder I got such a pitiful little cup of COLD chili and a sad little sub. They truly needed some mature management the evening I visited.
