The food here was great. My friends and I went here for dinner, and got the 8oz sirloin steak meal. It was a little tougher than you’d like a steak to be but it did taste really good, so I was happy. The loaded mashed potatoes and garlic bread was great as well with it.
We then went here again in the morning for breakfast and that’s where it really shined. The bacon and eggs with country potatoes were delicious!
My only complaint is that it’s a very country/western themed place which is pretty obvious on the outside. I’m just not into that at all, but I won’t doc them for that as it’s my own personal preference.
Worth a visit if you’re looking for a decent place to eat and I suppose get drinks too if that’s your thing!

Indulging in Taco Tuesday was an absolute delight. I found myself savoring not just two, but perhaps nine of these delectable creations. The culinary experience was exceptional. They try to have a country bar in a crazy part of Portland, and do a pretty dang good job. No pool table, no shuffle board, and no dart boards. 6 video poker machines…

This is my post from last year.. After almost a year of hoping for improvement, it’s time to tell the owners and visitors that in my opinion, they don’t care enough. Food is decent, but unpredictable ordering the same exact item. Staff is generally good and attentive. But coming up to a dirty bar with 2 customers in the building is not OK. The biggest turn-off of this place is every single surface… bar, tables, floor.. is grossly sticky. Every step the bartenders takes, along with every customer walking, is a squish because there has been no deep cleaning in what is obviously many years. Will not be back and do not recommend if you want clean.
And here is my review after 10 months of absence, trying to see if was any better. First table I sat at was visibly dirty and wet. Had to move. Not a good start. Ordered breakfast, potatoes were stone cold and the sausage looked like it had been warming for a week.. wrinkled, black. Not appetizing. I can’t give a great review to the waitress, because although she was attentive, she doesn’t know how to clean a table. This place could be so much better if the owner/operator would read the reviews and actually pay attention to the simple things that matter in a restaurant, and implement better business practices. This was absolutely the last chance at my business, and I definitely won’t be returning. Bottom line, keep on driving.

I highly recommend the Stagecoach. They have great nightly food specials and the food is always so good! If you need a place to have a birthday party this is your place. We had my son’s there last week and it was perfect! Teresa, the new owner, went out of her way to accommodate us. She was there for the party and made sure everyone was comfortable and taken care of. We had a blast! Thank you so much!

Oh man, this is the best hole in the wall bar in the area hands down. The waitress was ON POINT, the drinks were great, and CHEAP. But I’m getting ahead of myself.
I had the western bacon cheeseburger, it was much larger than I expected, and came with the perfect amount of fries. The fries were crinkle cut, and came out a bit under salted, but that’s probably a preference thing and was easily remedied. The burger was juicy and thick, the bun was amazing(I think it was potato bread, but not sure).
All in all, we got 2 mixed drinks and 2 burgers both with fries and only spent $35(before tip). Well worth the stop if you are in the area.

Burgers are pretty damn good for bar food. Especially the Baco-licious and Double-Double burgers. Tap list is alright. The highlight of this place was definitely the friendly staff. Shay remembered my name and what beer I had after only the second time I came in! Never had a bad bartender, they were all great.

A friend suggested this place to me a few months ago, so I met him there for the breakfast special one morning. I wasn’t disappointed, you get 2 eggs (cooked however you want), 2 pieces of bacon, or 2 sausage links ( I always get the links, but my buddy says the bacon is good too), fried potatoes (fresh, not frozen) and 2 – half pieces of your choice of toast. With a cup of coffee, and a tip it’s $10.00! The meal alone I think is somewhere around $6. – $6.50. The waitress is always accommodating, and friendly, I usually go around once a week now. It’s never been crowded, and the service is fast. If there’s a better deal around, I don’t know where, nothing fancy, just good food, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
