TERRIBLE! Stay away. Ra, the elderly lady was on me like white on rice. It was my first time here and definitely my last. I was browsing the store to see what they had to offfer. She literally gave me no personal space and I felt very uncomfortable and targeted. She stuck to me like glue

This is one of the worst sandwiches. I’ve had in over 10 years. Because of the reviews, I was looking forward to a great meal… instead, I was left nauseous very disappointed. A cheese with sliced so thick it was almost thicker than the bread. Usually deli sliced is thin. This was thicker than hand sliced. I also paid extra for coleslaw and onion and did not receive it. The sandwich was dry and nothing to “write home” about. I also ordered the chicken wings which were greasy and half breaded. I threw the whole meal away. I took the time to write this review because I was really looking forward to this meal after a two hour jogging session and was left thoroughly disgusted.
Update: 7/16/25 not sure why the owner replied “Hi Jan”, instead of addressing the issues reported. Maybe this Deli has new ownership and English is not their first language so they don’t quite understand… (because I see Google had to translate their response). This would explain the poor quality of food. Either way, stay away from this Deli.

Food is AMAZING, I visited today and the owner was so kind!! I got the husker as recommended and am definitely coming back. Prices are very fair for this day and age and unseen in many other delis. Highly recommend! Thank you to the great staff who helped me and made me feel welcome.

We used Steinmann Deli for hosting our company picnic at FDR! I worked closely with Erica and she was awesome! We spoke about several times beforehand about our event and discussed food options. She was very accommodating and planned a great menu of options for us. The food was really delicious and prepared beautifully! It was a hit! We would definitely order from them again! This place feels like home to me. I’ve been going her for as long as I can possibly remember. The service here is always fast, and the people are always kind. One time they accidentally gave me the wrong sandwich, so they apologized, made me a new one, and gave me a free cookie. Another time I was $1 short and they covered it for me! They always greet me with a warm welcome when I go in and it’s just a fantastic place. The food there is amazing, as well.

Doesn’t get much better than this. People are always friendly and the food always gets the job done. Why pay for a Hashtag at Rocky’s Deli for $16 when you can get a Hobo for half the price! Steinmann Deli for the win.
