When it comes to BBQ, my expectations are always high. If it be ribs, tri tip, pulled pork, or brisket.
My wife was treating the family and wanted a tri tip sandwich. Our go to shop was closed and this spot immediately came to mind.
Made the order, picked it up and headed home. Didn’t know what the experience would be like until I took a piece out the sandwich and chucked it in my mouth.
My taste buds were really enjoying the full, seasoned and smokey flavor. I must say, I never had a tri tip sandwich where they chopped the meat. Not bad at all.
The whole family loved every bite. I can’t wait to go back and try something else. Whatever you guys are doing, keep doing it. You got something special going on.
Hogg Pitt BBQ is legit and are serious about putting out and serving great, delicious, mouthwatering, taste bud satisfying, gut filling bbq. Definitely get 5 stars. Service was excellent too. My expectations were exceeded.

Me and the wife went in today and got the rib tips and tri tip. Omg. Food was excellent. Tru tip was a little salty but fairly good. The Mac and cheese was fire and the potato salad was good. Owner gave us a peach cobbler on the house. We will definitely be back.

THE FOOD SPEAKS FOR ITSELF! Walking in the restaurant was very clean. The service was fast! We got a rib plate and a tri tip plate. Sides were mac and cheese, cornbread, baked beans, and greens. We ended up with peach cobbler for dessert as well. EVERYTHING was soooo good! The ribs were super tender and flavorful with a smoky finish. Everything that you want in a rib. Got their homemade BBQ sauce on the side, and that just took it to another level! You’ve gotta try it! Best collard greens in Fresno! They’ve got that classic taste like grandma made them! Tasted like they have a smoked turkey leg in it. Peach cobbler was on point. Tri tip was juicy and perfectly seasoned fat around the edges. Oh, so good! Please give this place a try. We will be back soon!

Wow! Random Saturday we decided to order some sandwichs to go for our family and friends while working on our yard, blown away. Best tri tip sandwich I have ever bought. Dog house who? Bbq sauce you can tell was home made and absolutely delicious. Tri tip was moist and juicy not dry at all and not too much smoke – perfect. We will definitely return!

The food was amazing! I got the tri link sandwich and both the hot link and tri tip were flavorful and tender and the BBQ sauce was delicious and a little spicy. And the cashier was very nice and helpfull. Overall 10/10 experience.

Food was kinda ok,I mean I’m from Texas and the ribs fall off the bone,but her the ribs weren’t what we expected. Now the sides that’s a different opinion. The mac and cheese was off the hook,actual greens not turnip but greens with pork meat in it,potato salad was good needed some mustard and a lil more salt, Also the dessert was delicious .

wanted to try a new bbq restaurant. I’m glad we did. My daughter loved there ribs.. Between my honey and I we got a little bit of everything. You can tastes the smoke flavor in there meats. The fried fish was everything. I’m definitely going back for that. The restaurant was clean and the staff were super friendly. They made you feel like you were family.. I’m going back for sure
