Nice Thai restaurant overall. Average food and flavor. The Jasmine Tea was fine, but just a standard tea bag. The Fresh Rolls were okay, but had much better a few other places that packed a little more flavor and balance. The Tom Kha Soup and Red Curry Beef runs the same theme, all average. Just lacked the bold flavor I found a few other places.

Thai-am they deserve five stars. Great quality Thai food give this place a try located in Saint Pete close to downtown worth the drive. Nice size portions food tasted fresh. You won’t be disappointed. They also have a rewards program. Make sure you ask them for the card and if you’re hungry, get the larger size bowl it’s only a few dollars more I think for the curry.

Just got lunch from this restaurant ubered and I’ve grown up with & love Thai food, but the food I received was such a disappointment.
I paid extra to be first, so no excuse of it sitting in car annd not being fresh.

I ordered the my favorite soup Tom Kha Kai & I was craving a Thai beef salad (yum nua) which I and they had a Bogo on Panang curry, so I got one for me and one for my son who has been wanting to try the Panang bcuz he always orders red curry. I have to say, I’m not even going to give him that bcuz it’ll give him a bad impression of that curry forever.
Let’s start with the beef salad if you can call it that since it literally had two pieces of lettuce. I can understand not using filet mignon, but this is a meat dish and the meat was very low quality & disgusting. There was no flavor and I was so tempted to post a picture of the chewed up meat pile that I had to spit out but don’t want to gross anyone out, but it was that kind of meat. The kind you chew and have to spit out. & Yes, I got mild, but there was no spice and no flavor at all. mild means very little spice – not no spice & the salad is meant to be bright and flavorful with lime flavor, but I barely tasted lime at all and squeezed 2 of my own limes on it and sprinkled red pepper flakes, but it was still gross. I barely put a dent in it and it also only had a few tomato wedges and cucumber chunks. Not at all like the veggie plentiful pile you would expect from this dish.

The soup was not the greatest, but tasty enough.
I would, unfortunately, not order from this restaurant again, bcuz their curry was just sad. The first sip = SUGAR. It’s so sweet and not in a good way. Also, I got medium and there’s zero spice at all. Seriously – none. The 2nd bowl had spice, so perhaps my spice was forgotten.
It didn’t taste anything like a Panang curry. No depth of flavor. I usually can’t help myself eating these curry’s, but I had one bite and another just out of pure shock. Not good.
I don’t know if they’re batching these out for their Bogo today, but as a restaurant – you should always keep in mind that this might a a customers very first impression of your food and it tasted nothing like what Thai food should taste like.

With so many other local Thai options around, sending out this level of quality food is a huge mistake.

I might try and fry the beef up later and add flavor and spices to the “salad” and curry – only bcuz I dropped over $60 on lunch, but I shouldn’t have to do anything to the food that I’ve ordered. That’s the whole point of ordering food delivery – so you don’t have to cook!

I would like to mention that I think twice before posting a review that might negatively alter a mom-and-pop shop, bcuz I love to support local, but it really was that bad.
The food you sent out today does not represent Thai cuisine at all. Please do better.

My husband and I used to dine in every Friday night. We haven’t been in awhile after having a bad experience a number of years ago. Decided to try and ordered via Uber Eats
Ordered Pad Kae Mao (drunken noodles) with chicken, Thai Am Trio (App with spring rolls, drummets, and krab rangoon), and a side of fried rice.
Pad Kae Mao luke warm (we live 5 minutes from restaurant). Order medium and the dish was sweet…no spice or flavor at all
Fried rice….what we received was not fried rice …luke warm, no egg, no flavor.
App trio okay…. highlight was krab rangoon (3 pieces).
$58… Will not return or recommend to others.

Overall, this place was pretty good.
The crab rangoon was alright, at best. Loved the crispyness, just found the filling was not my favorite. Had the pad see ew with chicken & the pad woo sen. Asked for it hot, but was not your thai spicy for those who are sensitive.
I gave this place a good ol 2nd college try, and it was better the 2nd time around. They are open on Sundays, for those who are looking for a good meal on a sunday night.

Very popular place for take out. I have dined here twice and am shocked how many to go orders this restaurant puts out. Service and food is very quick. Overall 30 min dinning experience. Food is made to order and has good flavor. I would say my only take away is I wont order beef again in my fried rice this last visit but enjoyed my pad thai last visit. Inside seating only.

The food was pretty typical Thai food, pretty good. I thought it was really cute how they make the rice into a heart shape. Would go again but isn’t a must try. There wasn’t a lot of people in store but there was also a lot of takeout orders.

I was a regular at Thai-Am but this Pad Thai is extremely disappointing tonight. It’s basically dry noodles, unsure how this was even made to be so dry. I always get this dish and have left 5 star review previously, but my past 2 experiences now have been disappointing and very inconsistent and I will not be returning.

Comfortable setting and service is great. The dishes that I have are devious. Unless there is additional parking elsewhere, it is a bit tough to find a spot during busy area.

decent but not worth going back. They could do so much better if they focused on their sauces. First, why ask the mild , med , hot spice level?? It doesnt matter because our dinner of 5 entrees had no spice what so ever. one was supposed to be mild and the pad thai hot, but it all tasted the same. The beef quality was tough and chewy so why the upcharge? Its not even good quality beef so please dont do shortcuts to offset your in house cost. Your customers can tell. Please fix it so we can continue to order Thai food from here as the quality used to be really good.
