Peruvian chicken dishes, fish sandwiches & ceviche in a laid-back eatery, plus desserts & cookies.

I’m originally from Peru and this is a solid choice if you want to try some Peruvian food in Seattle.
MUST HAVE: Lomo Saltado. Juicy, full of flavor, tender. Definitely have to try it if you go.
The ceviche wasn’t bad but it felt like there was a tad too much lime compared to the seasonings. The ratio felt a bit off. This was the standard ceviche not the spicy version.
Chica morada (drink) was not bad but was missing some of the apple and sweetness to it.
Plantains were hot. Not my favorite but the person I came with was a fan.
Alfajores were too delicate and crumbled in hand. Good flavor but broke so easily. Perhaps because they were thinner than normal. Need some thickness so it doesn’t fall apart easily. Traditional alfajores keep their consistency.

I came for the rotisserie chicken but apparently it’s only served Fridays and Saturdays. Instead we got what was available. The food here is good but for the price and the amount of serving, it’s not worth trying at all. Food is good not great. Service is good not great. It’s just plain. I’ve had a lot of Peruvian food in the Florida and North Carolina and nothing honestly compares. This place is way too overpriced. I wouldn’t recommend but it’s not terrible either.

The portions, service and most importantly the quality of food you get is worth the price.
I came to Seattle to visit and where im from no one has nailed Peruvian food like Don Lucho’s has.
3 weeks later I’m still thinking of that ceviche and octopus! la causa acevichada. JUST WOW! Lomo saltado and anticuchos were also so really good.
I almost just want to move back to Seattle so I can come back every weekend.

Nice atmosphere, 3 or 4 separate sections, so good variety of seating options- indoor, patio, and covered picnic tables. The food was very good! The steak was perfectly cooked in our dishes, flavors were excellent! The pasta was something returning for alone! My son in law got sandwich and fries, the fries are double fried- super crispy and delicious!! Definitely going to be returning when we are back in the area.

Hidden gem, among the best places to get amazing food at a laidback/relaxed location in Seattle. I’ve eaten at this location 3-4 times, and even had these folks cater my wedding back in 2018! If you’ve never had Peruvian food, this is the place to try it. If you’ve had Peruvian food but are tired of overpaying for small portions of no traditional presentations at some of the “fancier” Peruvian spots in the area – Don Lucho’s will restore your faith in Peruvian food.
Atmosphere is relaxed, service is friendly and fast. Recommend the pisco sour, ceviche, and aji de gallina.

My partner and I came to celebrate Valentine’s day. He spent $28 on my meal that incorporated steak and veggies, fresh but small portions, rice that allowed the juice from the steak and veggies to seep into the rice and fries. It was okay. I would have preferred more steak and veggies and one carb, not two. My partner spent less on his seafood with spicy rice and his food tasted better. Not once did they come and ask how everything tasted. The restaurant was almost dead. It didn’t feel like they cared about doing more than getting our food out and my drink made, so I kind of got money laundering vibes. My drink was okay too. Passionfruit was the main ingredient so thr alcohol was very watered down. Parking was on the side of the building and approximately 4 spots were open. They started as a food truck. It might be better to go back to operating as a food truck. Also happy hour everyday from 5 to 6 pm? Why not 6 or 7 to 9 pm?

Amazing food. service is slow and took 2 stars off.
Food: 5/5. Ceviches are fresh (huge portions not your typical tapas), Saltado is great (comes with fries) and Yuca fries were well seasoned.
Service: 0/5. On one pickup order, food took 25 minutes beyond pickup time.
During that wait time, only 3 tables were seated in restaurant. Server was not transparent with the delay (10 minutes then 5 minutes)
Atmosphere: 5/5. Laid back, family and group friendly with parking in front.

I am a Peruvian food fan and can say the quality and flavors here match my 2 favorite fine dining Peruvian restaurants. They have all the classics, I got one of the ceviches and the fish was great and side of fried calamari also great.

We had breakfast and ordered sandwiches of Chicharron, Butifarra, and Salchicha Huachana. The taste was quite off and barely recognizable as Peruvian food. Don Lucho started as a great food truck for sandwiches. The owner needs to get back an audit how non Peruvians are preparing the food

I’ve been coming here for years, and it’s still my favorite spot! The food is always fresh and authentic. You can truly taste the love in every dish, and the staff makes you feel like family every time.
