I have had Mason’s several times and today was the day that I finally saw the hype. I had the big moses burger with tater tots and it was delicious. I still don’t care for their fries and super dark vibe of the bar. I will get this burger again but not the sliders or the reuben.

This is a typical dive bar with a nice selection of beer. They recently joined Untappd l. Service is good. They claim to have the best burgers in town. I’ll have to try them again, last time I had a burger here the bun was crumbling. That was about 20 years ago, so that problem may be solved.

Fantastic burgers, great drinks, and friendly waitstaff. Stickers all over the walls, old signage, legit age.
A lot of bars wish they could have the old school dive bar aesthetic that Mason’s has genuinely cultivated by just being here forever.

You’re missing out if you skip on this place and love a great burger. Every time I’m in the Detroit area, a stop by Mason’s for a burger is a must. The Double Shift burger is the best burger I’ve ever had. Anywhere. And I’ve had a lot of them.
Absolutely delicious, great service, great food, great beer, never had less than a 5 star experience. It’s the meal I look forward to when I’m heading to town. Never change, Mason’s.

Just had a fantastic experience at Masons, first time for our family and a few other hockey families. Food was amazing, service was even better.
