Food was amazing, Kira was kind server, and love that the patio is dog friendly! We had the stuffed mushrooms, tuna poke wontons, butternut squash soup, ribeye (mushroom one not the blu cheese), and the seafood ravioli! Took key lime pie to go! Recommend!!

I am still thinking about this place a week later and wishing that every restaurant could be this good. Our waiter Connor was very good. He made sure we were well taken care of and had a great personality. The food was excellent and very fairly priced. The table ordered several appetizers and they were very good. I had the one of the best chicken parms I have ever had and this isn’t an Italian restaurant. Several of us had the steaks and they were done perfectly. We also had the salmon and a linguine dish which was the veggie option. Finally, we had desserts – key lime pie, apple pie, and cheesecake. I only great things to say about Rain.

Rain is our “go to” restaurant when we are in or around or passing through Abingdon. The food is amazing. My husband loves the Tuna. The Shaved Beef Stroganoff Fettuccine was scrumptious. Service can be a little slow when they are jam packed. Reservations are helpful.

This place is amazing! The surf and turf special was one of the best meals I’ve ever had! My husband enjoyed his shrimp and grits as well. Not to mention the BEST oysters rockefeller to start! Drinks were great, service was amazing, very great dining experience!

This is my favorite restaurant of all time. I live over 6 hours away and in a decent sized city but nothing there compares to this place. I love the ribeye with potatoes and fried spinach and I have never had a bad drink here.

After hiking The Channels stopped here because it has a dog friendly patio. Very glad we did. Enjoyed our meals, service, and location right on Main St for an end of summer outdoor meal.

My wife and I went to rain on a Saturday night. We had reservations and were promptly seated. Service was very good. I had a martini that was prepared as I requested. The butternut squash soup was fantastic. My wife had salmon with a crab sauce, delicious. I had rigatoni in a marsala sauce with prosciutto and mushroom pesto. Delicious. Absolutely no complaints.

My wife and I just dined at Rain, it was possibly the best dining experience we’ve had in a couple years. Everything we had was a Home Run!
First off, we dined on the patio on a gloriously beautiful evening, but that was just a bonus.
We started with Calamari which was excellent, and Stuffed Mushrooms which were an 11 on a 10 scale! So good!! Then we each had the creamy mushroom bisque soup…… AMAZING!
Entrees were equally superb. My wife had the Crab crusted Salmon and I had the Pepper crusted Ribeye Au Poire, both totally on point! Even the potatoes with my wife’s salmon were perfect and delicious.
We finished with the German Chocolate cake, another Home Run!
But, what really sets a great meal and dining experience apart is the service, so let me tell you about Alani . Not only is this young lady cosmically beautiful (she’s the taller beautiful one in the middle next to my beautiful wife ), she is also a very talented server with a great smile and awesome disposition! She knew when to check in with us and also when to give us our space. She is a GEM!
This was our first trip in to Abingdon and unfortunately we are now ruined for the rest of the establishments because I don’t know how we”ll ever go anywhere else now.
