Had lunch there about 2 weeks ago with my son and we really enjoyed our meals. It’s not a full service place (you place your order and they bring out the meals to you). The sandwiches rocked – reminded me of the deli’s I enjoyed growing up in NY. Sides were great. As Arnold said, “I’ll be back”.

I saw this place last night on Facebook, liked the vibe, and decided to come in before work today.
I entered, was immediately greeted by multiple staff, and was smacked in the face by a great aroma. The whole place matched their online vibe, which is something I was planning they’d flop on – so bonus points for advertising a chill place and actually being chill.
The menu was way more in depth than I’d anticipated. I hadn’t looked at any pictures or menus outside of the first few things that popped up on Facebook. It’s expansive, there’s plenty of options for folks. Anything from a Reuben to a Chicago Dog to smoked wings. Heck, they even got deviled eggs! I also am amused by the thematic nature of the deli being prevalent throughout the entire experience. The names of their specials and menu items are hilarious, and they all have very detailed descriptions that sound great.
I brought my sandwich to work. I got the Dom, which I can only describe as a BLT all grown up, with a side of red skinned tater salad (by way of recommendation from the young lady who took my order). When I checked it out, it was massive, and the smell flooded the immediate vicinity. I had coworkers who I never talk to peeking over my shoulder to get a load of what I had. Instantly, about 7 of us were suddenly talking about Round ‘Bout Deli. The sandwich is amazing by the way, absolutely phenomenal.
Definitely recommending this place to everyone, definitely going to be going back, and as god as my witness I’m going to try everything on the menu.

I got a steak and blue cheese sub, and it was delicious. The sandwich was loaded, hot, and full of flavor, with tender steak and just the right amount of blue cheese. The au jus was a great bonus. Super filling, really satisfying, and exactly what you want when you’re craving a solid, no-nonsense sandwich.

Cord even helped me settle a decade-old debate about the definition of a double-decker sandwich. I thought about giving a 1-Star because there was too much food (it really is a lot of food) but I’ll give it 5-Star instead

We ate lunch here today … it was delicious!! The chili and the build your own 1/2 sandwich (the sandwich had a generous amount of meat) was great! We were greeted when we came in the door which is always nice. It was a great experience!

Incredible! Had no idea what were getting into. Our original lunch objective was no more, so “what the heck” let’s try this. Outstanding sandwich served both my wife and me. It’s a two+ hour drive ( but a fun drive). We will be back!

Stopped in today for lunch, and had the cuban. It was one of the best cubans i’ve ever had, and it was HUGE! My mom had their ruben sandwich, which was also very delicious. we will definitely be back to try more things!

Have wanted to try this place for awhile now and decided to get a few sandwiches to take on a picnic with my parents. I was very impressed. The 3 people working where like a well oiled machine in that little kitchen. My mom got a Ruben and I got the Cuban. Not only where they huge but delicious as well. I’m a pickle fan and asked for extra on my Cuban. They hooked me up right!! Plus the young lady that took my order gave me extra pickle spears on the side!! Will totally be going back now!!! The staff was super friendly even though they where very busy. I’m a big guy and I couldn’t even finish half my sandwich. It was that huge. Now I have dinner for later tonight. There coleslaw was very good also. If your downtown make sure to give them a try, you will not be disappointed!!!

Growing up south of ybor city gave me a chance to try some absolutely amazing Cuban sandwiches throughout the years, and I have to say the round bout deli is probably the closest any place has come to matching that so far!
I’ve had the pleasure of trying them twice now, and I’ve loved it both times. Round bout deli uses absolutely amazing pickles with some very quality meats and accurate tasting bread pressed to perfection. It’s also worth mentioning the mojo pork was even better and more citrusy and flavorful the second time around, and I’m sure they’ll keep at it to make it the best they can! There is a smidge of sticker shock with the price, but with how big their portions are I have 0 complaints over it. And with how amazing it all is, 0 leftovers too.
