DUring our lovely 2 weeks at Grand Palladium, we went back to Bamboo as often as we could. The Manager Antonio really stood out as the most enthusiastic and welcoming of any resto on site.
Carlos the server has an incredible memory no matter which resto he was working at he remembered our favorite drinks !!
Enrique, Alejandro adn Julio also were very special to us with Julio fixing our wobbly table like such a pro!

This is probably one of the worst Asian cuisine restaurants I’ve ever been to. The service is good but the food is terrible and small portion. We ordered Edamames (6 pieces with a bunch of sauce), Vegetable tempura, Tofu salad, Fried rice, Shoyu ramen (looks and tasted like it came from instant noodles package), chicken yakisoba (has to be the worst yakisoba I’ve ever had), chicken Teriyaki (teriyaki sauce was too sweet and chicken was dry/overcooked), grilled tuna, dragon rolls (very small pieces), tempura ice cream (delicious), chizu cake, camelado de cafe (dislike),and fried banana roll (delicious!). The only things we liked were fried rice, grilled tuna, and the desserts.

One thing about us is that we LOVE Asian food but this did not hit the mark. The sushi was just sad. There were only 3 choices and you get 4 each.

Bamboo is an excellent place to eat. Service is great and Ramone makes excellent fried sushi. Just tasted amazing. A specialty.

We didn’t expect to go to Bambu on the trip as the kids don’t really care for this sort of cuisine. To our surprise it was great that they had a kids menu so this made things that much easier. The menu was good but nothing special. I had some Cali rolls to start and my daughter was enjoying those as her first try. We then had some spring rolls and “dragon eye” which was just shrimp with an egg batter and fried. They were both good. Main course consisted of Beef / Chicken Sata and rice. I don’t recall what my wife had. It was all very good, and it was a great surprise. Our service from start to finish was excellent. It’s kind of a hidden gem in my mind at the resort.

Too warm in restaurant, no fans or A.C. Kids couldn’t handle the heat, and the adults weren’t enjoying it either.
Our group was split between 2 tables ( which was fine as there were 12 of us and we were sat in tables next to each other) waiter took other tables order and then left, it wasn’t until he returned with their food and taking their second order, did he take our order. Spring rolls were frozen in the middle when brought to the table.
Was really looking forward to this restaurant while at the resort, but disappointed. Did not return while we were visiting.

Bamboo restaurant, excellent food but both times the food was definitely on the cool side. They also brought our mains before we had finished our starters on both occasions. Very nice otherwise.
