Ordered Buffalo chicken pizza on 09/21/23, and it was horrible!!! Came from work to pick it up about an hour before closing and I got home all the way to amsterdam to find a pizza with dry chicken that had barely any Buffalo sauce whatsoever and there was no sauce on the pizza period! No red, no white, no ranch, nothing! Just half done crust with an inch of not fully melted cheese. Never again, would definitely need a refund on this one. Been here before and they did not disappoint, but this time it was absolutely disgusting and I couldn’t return it because olive 20 minutes away and was not driving all the way back at 10 at night. No bueno nicos bad business totally

Great chunky sauce ln all the pastas and pizzas. Cant beat $12 pasta dinners on the weekends especially for the portions! Drink specials are always changing and always unique. The pizza is great I do suggest requesting extra crispy if you like crispier crust but aside from that the cheese sauce and dough ratio is poppin! Place has been open longer than ive been alive and slinging out delicious food ever since!

Really sad experience. The pizza looked bad and was bad. Soggy and floppy. The traditional pizza fold did not work on my slice–the front end actually fell off under its own weight. Add to that that there was not enough sauce, too much cheese, and the crust was about as long as the brim of a sombrero. My first time there was definitely also my last. It’s a bummer that this is the pizza place on the main strip of town. We deserve better. For shame…

Awesome little Pizza joint! We only had slices (3) and 3 drinks and ate in. Pizza was DELICIOUS, and the slices were HUGE! The polite young man who took our order also delivered the slices to our table. The location is perfect for the downtown area of Schenectady, making it that much more inviting.
Atmosphere – This restaurant is not Air Conditioned! It was 78 and Sunny outdoors, and a relief once outside the door! I get it – electricity in NY is outrageous! …but it might score more walk-ins and eat-ins!

Update: we gave them one more try recently and were solidified in our conviction to stay away. The garlic knots showed up with no oil or seasoning and were the most shriveled up hard hockey pucks of bread I’ve ever seen. The “boneless chicken” was a mash up of randomly sized chicken rejects put in breading and barely seasoned. How is Nico’s THIS terrible?!?
We kept ordering from here because we like the pizza, but no longer worth the headache. Every time we order from here for delivery something is messed up. Once completely forgot our chicken wings, twice brought the wrong type of wings, and 4 times forgot our sodas. We never complained about the soda, but tonight decided we’re no longer customers. After calling twice and being told a driver was on their way, yet no one showed up within the two hours, I said forget it. And half the time they turn their phones off so you can’t call and follow up about a screw up with the order.
