I went there, with my older son, to see guitarist Glenn Phillips. I had not seen him in about 40 years and he played one of my favorite compositions, Dogs. It is a unique place (restaurant / bar) to see a musical act.

Have loved this spot for many years. They remodeled a few years ago. It’s a different vibe now, but beautifully done. Great room for live music. Food is delicious. Treat yourself to roast beef that tastes like your Mom made it. See you there.

My only complaint: the manager doesn’t seem to care about my group (~12 ppl) that meets there monthly; despite emailing him, as instructed, he failed to notify me that the establishment would be closed one of the evenings we were scheduled to be there.

Super cool neighborhood pub with the added benefit of a musical stage, how cool! Classic neighborhood pub vibe, with a really broad, but not overly so, menu. Surprisingly, the best chicken fingers in years, super fresh, super hot and super meaty, along with outstanding fries. They played classic rock and was spot on for neighborhood pub music. Service was warm and friendly which paired well with cold and tasty beers from it’s broad drinks menu. If you like the neighborhood pub vibe go and enjoy!!

My boyfriend, his brother and I went here for dinner since his brother recommended it because of their consistency. It turned out Sunday was free live music so we got to hear a good folk band.
My grouper sandwich was very good, bun perfectly toasted and buttered, and the sauce was very good. The collards were almost on point just bit too much vinegar.
My boyfriend demolished the pot roast, he said it was in his top five pot roasts in Atlanta.
His brother also ordered the grouper sandwich.
Overall the food was very good and worth coming back for.

2026-1 Update: Still a great place for a meal and entertainment. We went on a Thursday night that had jazz and blues. We had their signature pot roast and quesadillas. Both were excellent. Jazz and blues great.
2024-8 Update: came here on a whim on Friday ands was surprised and pleased that they had live music. A good size venue and lots of seating. This is a sports bar with plenty of TVs and sports bar food. We had fish and chips and a Caesar salad and deserts all the Food tasted good. Although the fish was a geometric shape. Also offered each week….Jamming night on Mondays and Trivia on Wednesdays. Great place for a local get together.
2023-9 Review: Nice local restaurant with a mix of dishes. We though this would be an Italian restaurant, but was pleasantly surprised with the selection. I had the Dragon bowl snd my wife had a cup of chicken corn chowder and a Caesar salad. Very nice atmosphere inside and outside on the patio. They have a nice bar and offer trivia on Wednesday. Only complaint was $10 for a glass of house Chardonnay seem a little high.

This is the third visit I have made to this establishment. I really enjoy coming here. The staff is always friendly to us. The menu is delightful with simple tavern food to satisfy any palette. The drinks we ordered came quickly which was amazing considering how busy the bar was. The food was just as amazing. I was a little nervous about that because I heard that they switched chefs and he had a stickler for subbing in his dishes. ( Like holding sauces or ingredients or just replacing this for that) You could tell that the ingredients were fresh. Everything was made to order. Nothing tasted like it had been sitting out. Our server was very attentive and made sure our glasses were never empty, and quickly cleared out our empty dishes. I will be coming back in the future. I highly recommend this place.

A big group of us came here for a casual meetup and had a great time! It was the first time I had been to Napoleon’s but I’m sure I’ll be back. They have a good drink selection, and the food was good too. The patio is perfect for a big group. There’s a ton of parking. The owner and the waitstaff were all super nice too.
