Such a great authentic restaurant. Owner is the sweetest German lady ever. Ordered the Jager Schnitzel and the October Fest sampler. Food tasted very homemade and fresh. The rest of staff were friendly and helpful. The cheesecake was just okay (not super sweet like American cheesecake) Maybe try it again next time. Prices are great too.

Very odd how my review disappeared from here. I will restate to protect the tastebuds of others.
First, the waitress was very sweet and attentive, thus the one star.
The food was inedible. I come from a German neighborhood and this food is certainly not traditional.
The red cabbage was tasteless and had a smokey flavor to it. Red cabbage should be sweet and tart. It was sent back. The schnitzel was nothing to rave over. It was dry, and flavorless. My daughter had the Jaeger schnitzel and I had the zweibel (onion) schnitzel. We also waited for the kitchen to make the “authentic” German potato salad which was grotesque. The potatoes were mealy and the traditional German potato salad is vinegar based. This seemed as if it was soaked in onion soup broth. The meal was inedible. I would not go back if they offered free food and I was starving. The desserts were not much better. Coconut cake and bread pudding.
When we told the waitress we were dissatisfied and did not want to take the food home she merely said sorry.
I added two more stars because whoever is editing this feed apparently deletes any review under 3 stars. Not a 3 star experience to be sure.

The food was delicious! The atmosphere was authentic, German. The wait staff was friendly and professional. The beverages were great, with a good variety. The owner engages the customers and she’s very sweet! The have very authentic dishes and some German dish surprises from time to time. Highly recommend this restaurant!!!

Best German Food Around. Ms. Ingrid is a hoot. She treats Soldiers with all the Love and Respect. We are just a part of her extented family. The food is incredibly delicious. Atmosphere is inviting. If your in the military, don’t be remiss. This place is a must!!

We were with a group of 30 people, we had our menu pre-arranged with them, they were very quick to get us our food and drinks. The owner was spectacular, old school, born in Germany, had some wonderful stories to tell and was very personable. The food itself was also very good, typical German affair, well prepared and excellent. Das Essen Ist Gut!!

It was our first visit here, and it was nice! We had the castle club, and the Turkey club. Hubby said he would definitely come back for the castle club! If you like German cuisine, this is your kind of place.

Really only sandwiches. Got my order wrong, ordered a Reuben. Sandwich was bland, sauerkraut had next to no flavor, taste like it came from a can. I could have made a better sandwich at home. Meat on sandwich seemed like packaged precut sandwich meat that you get at Walmart. They were out of German Potato Salad and Sweet Tea. Best thing was the fries, they were cooked perfectly.
