The food was excellent as was the service. Had the I’m an adult Mac and cheese, phenom. Wasn’t busy so the service was great! Hard to day about the normal atmosphere, there were only a couple of others there.

This place has amazing food! Yes, it might have taken some time to get the food (I’m seeing this complaint on other reviews), but if you want fresh and flavorful food, it’s worth the wait in my opinion. I’d always take well-made food over fast food any day.
The BBQ chicken pizza changed my life! 🙂
I heard that a lot of their stuff is homemade, like the Parmesan garlic crust on this pizza! Those small details really came through on the taste of these menu ideas.
The nachos were huge! The garlic knots were to die for!
If you’re in the area, give this place a try! You won’t be disappointed!

Such a fun and refreshing trip to Curly’s! The calamari was perfection with not just rings, but lots of tentacles! YUM!

Highly recommend the I’m an adult macaroni! Felt like a home cooked meal made with love, chicken tenders, and bacon.

My friend ordered BBQ pizzas to go and talk about the perfect midnight snack.

Had to come back for a burger for lunch. The social smash burger left me speechless. It was the bun and homemade ketchup that won me over.

The atmosphere is FUN and makes you feel like home. We will definitely be back to Curly’s!

I drove 40 minutes one way after viewing a picture of their mushroom soup on social media. It was excellent! Well worth the drive. My wife and I both enjoyed the food and wish this place was close to us. The atmosphere is something we enjoyed. We will definitely return.

I am in agreement with many reviewers that the price for food is too high. Service was a little slow, but our waitress was great and personable. Still 5 stars.

Two of 4 party had burgers that were good. Pizza sub and gyro for others were only ok. Service was a little slow and had several mistakes, nothing critical. Prices mostly in line, an upcharge of 2.00 for ice for”on the rocks” margarita was odd. Nothing tonight that would bring me back again. After the comments from the owners, I will probably be back. They addressed my issues, the place is pretty nice.

My name is Stacey and my girlfriend and I came out to see a musician friend Brent Cole perform and sing some song with him. I had no real expectations but, I was first blown away by the venue itself it was super clean too to bottom (even the bathrooms ladies) and laid out very well. Now let’s talk food DAMN! So good. What I ordered was great but every time food came out from the kitchen it all looked amazing! Lastly, the service was exceptional. From the bartenders, servers and even the owner who maid a point to introduce himself and thank me for my visit and he was genuinely proud of what he has built as he damn well should be. I’m a musician and have been into to so many venues that the service sucks, drinks not made well or warm and an owner that doesn’t take pride in their business. I would book a gig at the venue in a minute. I should also mention how nice and friendly the other customers and patrons were. Thank for a great date night!

Buyer Beware – The $49 Pizza!
Did you know you could order a nearly $50 pizza at Curly’s? Well, we did, and I’m embarrassed for the establishment for allowing this level of overpricing. Sunday was a birthday lunch with the family & we ordered two large (18″) pizzas, a basic pep & bacon and a supreme. Total came to a tad over $81 with tax and card surcharge. When I went in to pick it up with my dad, we saw the receipt and asked if the $49.49 supreme pizza pricing was a mistake, it must have been right? Who in their right mind would order a $50 pizza in Colon of all places. How could anyone in their right mind charge $50 for a specialty pizza that didn’t include caviar or gold flakes. My dad joked we were on a TV show asking the bartender to show us where the cameras were because we must be getting pranked. NOPE, apparently, we’re the joke for buying a $50 pizza. Make sure you ask for the price of the pizza before confirming the order or you may end up like us by inadvertently ordering a $50 pizza, I keep saying it because I can’t even believe it still. As a comparison you can order a large deep dish supreme pizza from nearly any top tier Chicago pizza joint for under $50 which could feed a whole family, the Curly’s supreme barely feeds two people.

For context I’m not one of the local mouth breathers who whine at the hint of something changing in town. I looked forward to new blood in town and understood that prices had to go up some and with that likely getting a better product. Objectively I’m this establishments target audience. I don’t typically look at what I pay for food, I’ll gladly pay up for higher quality food and experience as long as I get value out of the food/experience. We ordered pizza about a month prior, and the order was completely screwed up and we were given an extra pizza as a “sorry”. We were fine with it, the price was a bit more than before, but you could taste the quality difference versus the prior ownership’s pizza and it felt like they were trying. Any new establishment deserves a little leeway to figure it out. The owner apologized and we were understanding because they were still clearly figuring it out and trying. We were happy to give them some business with all the local drama around the new owners.

Flashback to today and I can tell you they’ll never get a penny out of us again and personally I don’t have a reason to come back since they got rid of the only good item on the previous menu which was the grinders. Fool me once shame on you… I never wish for a business owner to fail, I truly hope they find enough suckers to buy $50 pizzas to stick around, but in a small town like ours, they’ll only going to find enough of them during the summer. They have a high probability of running dry of em’ during the winter months when the money flees this town. Hopefully they figure out their pricing strategy before they drive away their core customers.

If the owners do read this they should immediately do 3 things, ensure every order total is told to the customer before they hangup, post their menu on an easily accessible page that doesn’t require an account (get a website) and implement an online ordering system so you can use the data from your ordering system to help you figure out your pricing/products that does/doesn’t work.

We had the most amazing sever tonight at Curly’s in Colon, Mi. Within the last couple months the restaurant under new owner. The prices have noticeable increased nearly 20%. Our sever was so understanding and very compassionate. We used to come here at least once e a month, if not more, but not any more. This will only be a special treat.

The food has always been really great. Service was impeccable and it has always been a great atmosphere. The prices with the new owner is what really is bad. He is from the Chicago area. Th is is definitely not Chicago. He need to price accordingly.

Dont waste your time or money. We use to go to Curly’s all the time to get together with friends. This place has really went down hill. We called ahead of time to let them know we had a big group coming. We called at least a day ahead of time too. Since we arrived it was nothing but rudeness from our waitress. We told her that there was not enough seating where she had us sitting at. On top of it was right by the door. We ask to move and she just threw a fit telling us that we wouldn’t like it. We ask what was on tap for drinks, we were told she didn’t know and told us to walk to the bar and look on the board. We came in at 6 and we were told we had to hurry because they colse at 8. Took forever to order food. Then the food was just ok. It took forever to get any refills of any thing then people with driver’s were getting cut off after 2 drinks. Also as we were all talking going from table to table since we weren’t allowed to sit together, the waitress decided to take on the responsibility of boxing up our food herself even though some of us weren’t finished and throw out my daughter’s drink.
