Bartari is a retro inspired social gathering place in the heart of downtown Scranton. Part restaurant, part bar, part arcade Bartari has something for everybody. The Arcade: 50 arcade games from the 80’s and 90’s including 24 pinball machines, Skeeball, billards and pinball tournaments The Bar: 20 taps featuring rotating craft and domestic beers, ciders, seltzers along cans, bottles, 80’s and 90’s inspired craft cocktails, wine, and full bar. Atmosphere is great. Love that they are openly LGBTQ+ friendly! The game selection is solid as well. There’s a lot to love, but the food left a lot to be desired. The drinks were solid, but the fried chicken and waffles was massively disappointing. Chicken was wayyy overcooked. Chicken was dry, leaving the skin tough and chewy. It was super dried out and not very good. The waffle was good which was nice. It sucks because outside of the food, the place is great. I hope they can do better next time I’m around. I’ll be rooting for them.

This place was pretty cool, I wish that I had more time to spend and just play around with the machines. The menu was limited but what they did have all sounded really good and the food we did order was tasty. There were not many customers in at the same time as us but it was long periods in between when we were waited on, that was the only draw back. We sat waiting for a while to request something or just move on and get the bill.

Speaking strictly about food and bev – this spot is amazing! The staff was so kind and the food was expertly prepared. I loved every single dish, especially the burger and fries. My friend loved the beer cheese pretzel bites and the fried apples. The space is well laid out and the bar is well stocked.

Cool place to check out, before 9 people under 21 are allowed in which is a nice way to bring in kids or teens. Good food and fun games. Machines work with quarters not tokens which is nice.

From out of town and so happy we stopped in. They have a KILLER selection of pins, including many Ive not seen in a decade+ or ever at all!
The prices are on par in my D.C. area but may be a little pricey for Scranton cost of living. Good customer service if a machine ate some quarters; instant refund and no arguing.
Food looked and smelled amaze and next time in town, we’re gonna eat lunch too!

“We came for the Rock 107 Crack Burger and were told it was sold out due to the Big Top Seats event and the Marines being there. We were offered a substitute Build-Your-Own burger but still paid full price, not the discounted price. Our bill was almost $72.
This was my second visit, and unfortunately, I won’t be coming back. The food was a 3/5, the service was a 1/5 (even though the bartender was very nice, it could have been better), and the atmosphere was way too busy.

Bartari is a staple in my friend group because Tatiana just gets it ! She’s amazing and always making the best lemon drops constantly. Makes going to another bar kinda hard when you know you can just go to bartari & have a good night full of good drinks and vibes. Tatiana we appreciate you.
