We greet the sunrise by slicing and juicing fresh fruits and vegetables, whipping French toast batter from scratch and brewing pots of our single-origin Project Sunrise coffee. Freshness is never comprised, which is why we welcome each season into our menu with ingredients and flavors inspired by the position of the sun. First and last time I’ll ever make the mistake of eating here. So disappointed as I was excited to try it. As someone born with a sodium deficiency I love salt. In my 50 years of eating food i’ve never once complained about anything being too salty until I ate here. My breakfast potatoes were so so so so so so so so so so salty that two hours later my mouth is still tingling and I’m so nauseous. I politely let my server Dominic know when he asked how my food was. His response was unacceptable. He rolled his eyes and said very sarcastically “hmm… interesting. Let me know if you’d like more.” and walked off. No Dominic, it’s not interesting. He couldn’t even bring himself to fake any empathy or offer to make it right. I was very polite and kind, and he was not. He never came back to check on me. Ask if I needed anything. He just ignored me the rest of my time there. Which will be the last. I finally informed the manager and while he was nice and didn’t charge me for my food portion (ALL of it was too salty to even entertain eating without a heart attack) he never once apologized. why can’t anyone apologize for my poor quality meal??? It’s because they aren’t sorry and they don’t care that their food wasn’t even edible. A simple apology would have gone a long way and would have made me want to give them another chance. But my business isn’t important to them. Neither is yours. Remember that.
