First – YUM!!!!!! Fried potatoes (meeting the expectations of perfect fried seasoned potatoes with just the right amount of still wet at the end). The biscuits and gravy were really good too (would order again). Eggs were eggs done the way I like them!
All this pepper was me, I like to spice up life!
This is not a bougie breakfast place but it’s SO TASTY! The menu covers the basics and has a good selection of also lunch items (which is great because one of my kids doesn’t do breakfast, the horror)!
ATMOSPHERE
This place has booths that seat 4, a couple 2 tops, a few 4 tops that could be smooshed together for a bigger group and 2 – 6 tops, plus a bar. It’s a nice spacious spot that mostly feels like you’re not too on top of people – although I imagine it’s a little more full on a weekend!
STAFF
One of the ladies here has a personality like you would find on a sitcom – great energy – she lights up the place even if she’s not serving you! Everyone is very friendly though!
This is what I would expect from a small town place and it didn’t disappoint! Happy to have stopped in and will be back.
I had country fried steak, and my husband had the Big Al’s platter. Food was hot, homemade, with portions that will have you asking for a doggie bag.
Stop by and say hi to Kayla, our server. She was friendly and attentive, as was the rest of the staff.
The staff was very personable and helpful and the food was a deal. I got the Philly Steak was spot on, but a higher quality bun would have made it five stars. If it is to keep the prices down, I could get okay board with it. This being said, it was very tasty. They currently don’t have any gluten free options, but will hopefully be adding GF buns soon.
Support a local business! These guys have made it on my come-back-to list.
