We were there last night (Fri) and they were out of wings and out of Italian beef. They said it was due to the snow storm almost two weeks ago?
Also, last time we visited, fall 2025, there they said their cook walked off the job so they had to stop food service. :/ Let’s just say our last two visits haven’t lived up to our expectations and previous positive experiences! We love the vibe but what’s going on?!

I tried out the Coffee Burger which the gentleman at the bar told me that the coffee rub doesn’t taste like coffee it just makes it super tender. I will tell you it was one of the most tender burgers I have eaten. It had nice thick cut bacon, Gouda cheese, with a Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce that was good. I had it with classic beer battered onion rings and you could tell they were made in fresh oil. Food was Excellent. Service was Excellent. Kitchen was super fast. Huge selection of Great bourbons too. Wish I was staying the night in Marion I would have tried a few out.

I Highly recommend Pookie’s Beer, Burgers & Bocce!!! The food is great.. From the starters to Burgers!!! The service was excellent… Super nice and always keep our drinks full!! Very nice place inside really clean!! I was too cold to sit outside, but that is an option when it warmer out

Stopped in here for a lil bite. Came looking for craft beer but couldn’t drink that day. So not sure if they have any or not. First time coming in here. Was not disappointed. Food was great. Try the coffee burger. Service by the cute tattooed waitress was great. Seemed like they had a lot of regulars. Bc they was a lot of chatter between staff & customers. So the atmosphere was friendly. Our waitress stayed and talked with us. Nothing stood out or made it different. But it was a good spot to stop in at.

The greatest surprise is their bourbon selection. If your are looking to try some high quality bourbon, you should definitely come here!
The beer on tap is cold and the lines are very clean!

The burger was very good. The fries we also quite good (they’re crinkle cut fries lightly salted for my French fry aficionados). The Italian beef was of decent quality beef, but the au jus was not great. Doesn’t matter though, come for the bourbon and the beer!

Smoked wings were AWESOME. Italian beef was very good also. The draft beer list did not have as many choices as we are a custom to in MN….need more hippy beers. Overall great place.

Pookie’s was recommended to me for lunch by a friend. It did not disappoint! I had the Pookie’s Burger. It was really good. Comes with BBQ sauce, cheese bacon and an onion ring. Also their house chips are delicious. Give them a try. You’ll be glad you did.

Today was our second trip to Pookies, one of many more to come. The service, food, prices and atmosphere are wonderful. A couple weeks ago we just happened upon Pookies and was very impressed with our server, Brandon and our meal and the prices. We did not get any pictures of our hamburger and fries unfortunately. We made a planned trip to go back today to try the Salameat Pork Burger which we had heard about. It is the creation of the owner who grinds and seasons the meat himself. It was absolutley delicious♡. Our server Kristi was a complete delight.
Both times at Pookies we enjoyed talking with Dan the owner. His heart is in the place and it shows. It is so nice to find a place where the beer is ice cold, the food is hot, the owner and staff are so welcoming.
My picture of the Salameat Pork Burger and fried mushrooms does not do it justice. My phone does not do well in lower lighting.

05/04/23 Decided to try their wings today. They are amazing. Smoked, flash fried, had mine tossed in BBQ sauce. Phenomenal flavor ♡
